UGH!!! I wish I'd seen THIS!!!

Will there be a MCM dna bottomfeeder soon?? (Pleeeeeze!!) This size would be PERFECT!!

Probably wont be any bottom feeders for a while. I've never built one, so when I do there will be a lot of kinks to work out before I settle on a design. I'll start experimenting when I find time.

So it looks like the biggest difference between the DNA20 and the DNA30, besides the obvious 30 watts, is it will handle sub-ohm coils. .5ohm being the lowest. I made a .6ohm coil and it hits great!

Is it reverse polarity protected? Lack of reverse polarity protection was one of the few flaws with the DNA20, and it's not mentioned one way or the other on the Evolv site.

No it still has no reverse battery protection.

The other "flaw" I found with the DNA20 was that its idle current, even with no atty attached, was high enough that after a week or so in the drawer, the DNA20 discharged the battery(s). It won't take them below 3.2V (so it doesn't kill them), but I quickly learned NOT to store my batteries in my DNA20 mods. It will be interesting to see if this has changed with the DNA30.
