The mods are almost finished. But im running into some roadblocks. I modify the springs and it helps the resetting issues, but those issues are still somewhat present. I was re-reading through all the specs on the DNA30 and it says the discharge rate for the battery is 12amp minimum. When Brandon and I initially spoke before the spec sheet was on the evolv website he said 10amp discharge was the minimum. I think this was changed because the "resetting problem" was so prevalent with 10a batteries. So it seems the batteries I have are all under-rated (and probably too old anyway). I need to pick up some Sony 30amp batts to see if the "spring fix" is actually a fix. The fix worked for SavageClouds, so im assuming that I am only seeing resets because my batteries are under-rated. The mod sale will have to wait till I can get proper batteries. There is a local vape shop here that carries 30amp batts, but they don't open till tuesday.

Although resets at those wattages with even a half dead battery is absolutely normal for the DNA30 as part of its protection.

I use the VTC4 30A batts...sell me one of your MCM's and I'll test it for you. J/K...I hope you get the bugs worked out soon!! I REALLY need one of these!!
Always good to wake up and see an update in this thread. Sorry to see there are issues with testing but I'm sure you'll get those Sony batteries and have the problem fixed in no time.

HI Matt, I used the 10a at first and was running into the resetting issues. I then switched to the 30a batteries and did not have that issue again. I did that in the #140 that Savage has and also in my Hana. Something must have came looser during the shipping to him.
I think a 20a would be good for a DNA20, and probably a DNA30, but would only recommend the 30a batteries. I do think your batteries are the issue you are having.

Im sure its the batteries that are the problem. My batts are all old and faded and dinged up from drops, so its time for new ones anyway
I would take you up on that offer if I didn't have to go to my wife's grandmothers birthday party in a few hours.
You could always send me one from the new batch for testing purposes, I have plenty of vtc4s
