Matt,

Still need 142 fixed. I think the chip is still good. I'll leave it up to you. I have been super busy building mods myself. I will leave it up to you as far as replacing the chip is concerned.

Let me know...I'll get it mailed out this week.

Thanks, bro!

is the spring in the 3d printed mod a hotspring? i dropped the mod about 2 feet onto the carpet and the battery came out. putting it back in and it wouldn't make contact. either the spring collapsed or got compressed, as near as i can tell.

i pulled the spring out a bit with pliers and its working ok. i wouldn't do that with a mech mod hotspring, but not sure about this one.

I'm sure it is, really the only protection that would be available.

Its possible for the spring to compress a bit from a drop. If the spring collapsed it would have been from a battery inserted backwards and it would be burnt up a bit. Its fine to stretch it a bit to help make contact. If it becomes a problem let me know and I will put in a new spring if it needs one.

The next batch of mods will be ready on wednesday. I will list them wednesday afternoon when I get off of work. This is going to be my last batch of mods I am making. I have been working on this batch for well over a month, it is getting harder and harder to find time to make mods. But I will still be here for MCM tech support and any kind of repairs that need to be done. All you MCM fans are my family and I will always be a part of the ECF community. :)

These DNA30 mods will have Phosphor Bronze battery contacts and PTC resettable fuses and larger gauge wiring. Their the nicest mods yet, too bad its the last :(

Wow. Matt I'm sorry to hear the you won't be making anymore. I'm glad to have the mods I got from you. they are beautiful pieces of functional art. Know this. If you are ever able to start up again we will be hear waiting to snatch them up. So with that being said I thank you for all the hard work and time you have spent making my journey that much better.

You got a "Like" from me because those are beautiful. I am sad tho, Matt, that more people will not be able to have one of your most wonderful creations. Thank you for all you've done, honey.

Thanks Kat! I wish I had more time to devote to creating mods. I get a lot of fulfilment having such an intimate relationship to the ecig community. But I'll still be around and hang out in the forum from time to time. And im definitely still around for repairs and upgrades, gotta get my mod making fix somehow :)

You still have one more chance to get one of the best MCM's ever made! :)
