I'll get some leopard wood next time i get wood. This coming batch will have some Macacauba, Bocote, Maple, and maybe some Mora and Tzalam.

Those are some pretty amazing woods, especially the Tzalam.

Bad news.... I wont have any mods ready by this weekend. Its been too darn cold out in my garage and when I bring wood from my house to the garage it tends to warp and bow... and nobody wants a crooked mod. That, and I've been working crazy amounts of overtime at work so I haven't had a whole lot of time lately. Winter is a slow season for ManCaveMods...


Good news.. I made my first 3D printed mod! Its super awesome and Im proud of how cool I am, j/k But it really is a cool mod. I doubt there would be much interest in a printed mod, but let me know if you guys want some.

This one is a DNA20 and takes a 18650. This one is NOT for sale. The print isn't the most flawless, but its good for a reprap printer, and came out very strong. I love it!

Sweet! I'll start making a few of these and see how it goes. I want to make a few minor design changes before I roll out the production model. I can do a few other colors too, but the black buttons look cool on a black mod.

I have some red. And yeah its strong plastic. It would take a lot to break it. It's very sturdy.

I've been bringing a Zmax to work and so I dont ruin my wood mod.. Its nice to have a DNA mod at work again and not worry about scuffing or breaking wood. Also I really don't like the Zmax

The printer is setup in my office. The cold would definitely affect the prints, so it stays inside where its nice and warm.
