Id like to be able to clean the insides up a bit, but these are so small that there isn't any room inside to cover the electronics. I may play around with making them a little bigger so I can do that. I have a few more like this I will make and then I will possibly change the design a bit.

To me, size is more important than insides

I agree. You only see the insides when you change the battery anyway. I like the design of these a lot. They are very comfortable to vape.

Have you thought about a trigger fire button? That would be the only thing I would maybe change. The insides are no biggie for me neither.

I do prefer a non-lacquered finish as you know, but I managed to change it on mine so no biggie
