Maxx Fusion Battery Issue - Any tips?

Hi folks. First off, I've been reading quite a bit and appreciate all the excellent info you seem to have. Looking forward to getting to know you all a bit more in the future. Like most, I have a question I that I hoped to find some information on.

I have two 65mm Maxx Fusion Auto batteries Link for reference that I purchased a bit over a month ago. Both worked just fine at first.

One seems to still be working fine, especially after a good cleaning. The other is very airy (is that even a word?) and I can't seem to get any sort of draw without extreme effort. If I cover the entire e-cig with my hand I can sometimes get it to work, but that is somewhat inconvenient, of course. I can literally puff on it with all my ability and the LED won't light up and I can't get any vapor.

I did contact Bloog, but they've asked me to send it back before they send me a replacement. I appreciate their position, but it puts me in a tough spot as having only one battery could be quite inconvenient. I was hoping this may be a known issue with a quick fix. Thanks for the help

Tough position only having 2 batteries - exactly for that reason. I would definitely send it back while it is warrantied. What you might do is just order an additional battery prior (to give yourself that extra) and send back the bad one when you get the new. It shouldn't take long and it is very nice having the extra when you need it!

That's sort of what I was thinking, actually. Having only two is sort of a risk as I am still trying to remain smoke free.

VERY good point - if you are still trying to get off analogs, having a backup is a must. Same with a charger - have at least 2 chargers if case one dies!! I had that happen to be before (not a Bloog charger, but another)

I'm still curious is anybody else has experience this issue. I did a quick check, but found nothing abnormal when I looked at the battery. FYI, good tip. I'm ordering a USB charger just in case. The PCC charger is nice, but I would be done for if it died on me.

Could be 1 of 2 problems to fix. 1. Try pulling up the middle post of the battery. Sometimes the post will get pushed down a bit from use or cleaning. 2. Might be the carto post instead of the battery. Do the same as above. That is usually what is wrong with mine. Welcome Hawk. I hope this helps.

Thanks Evie. I will try to pull up the battery post. The problem occurs with every cart, so I don't think they are the problem. Hehe, I just spent 50.00 in 3 minutes on the Bloog website. Have some new juice coming and I want a good battery and some fresh carts to really enjoy it

I just tried your tip, Evie. It actually worked pretty well, but not until I really cranked the cart onto the battery. I will keep an eye on it and see what occurs in the near future while it's still under warranty.

Regardless of the small issue, I loooove the mini battery. The resemblance to the analog is vital and the black/silver color combo I have going on just looks cool.

Also if the threads start looking dark on the battery thread clean them with a kleenex with rubbing alchol on it. Just don't soak it in it. LOL But when mine start sounding airy it is usually because I pushed to post down a bit somehow.

whats the warranty for the batty ? i have 2 batts and the other one is getting wierd .

I see the indentation in the carto post that you could turn with a screwdriver, but for the life of me I don't see a way to pull the post up on the battery.

Would you mind explaining how you go about doing this. I am using the MaxxFusion batts.

dont turn the post in the carto. You will break the wires. For the battery just use a paper clip gently pry up at the sides.

also try sticking a pin through the side airholes to make sure they aren't clogged.

The airholes were cleaned with alcohol and are clear. The problem is that there is no resistance whatsoever. Evie's tip sort of helped, but not really. The problem still exists and I'm going to send it back to Bloog once I get the battery I just ordered.
