I noticed today that Nicoticket has removed Grandma's Cinnamon Roll from its lineup. Granted, it was specified as being available for only a 'limited time' but it disappeared without a replacement.

Unrelated. Grandma's Cinnamon Danish will be back.

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT use liquid that contains diacetyl. Bad idea.

Know this - I have done all the research you could reasonably expect a vendor to do about the flavorings I chose and I specifically chose NOT to use oil based flavorings because 1) They are difficult to work with... and 2) There were some concerns in the community about inhalation of those products. Damn shame too, because some of them taste great.

I have seen the concerns about cinnamon before - it's nothing "new."

I'm glad to hear it will be back. Soon, I hope. I asked my sons to buy me juices for Christmas and it was one of the ones I listed as a juice I'd like to try.

cinnamaldehyde cytotoxicity is not really news. most studies i've looked at actually show a higher cytotoxicity to cancer cells than healthy ones. Inhalation leading to fibrosis is more of a concern imo than the minor cytotoxicity. Also i suspect not all flavoring contain the compounds specifically mentioned in that particular study.

maybe they will use it in some sort of humane executions ... sir, you have a choice ... firing squad ... hanging ... lethal injection ... or death by Cinnamon Roll

I will take the Cinnamon Roll sir, maybe the firing squad would be quicker........no, no the Cinnamon Roll please :p

I have been vaping for about 4 moths now. It has taken 3 of those months to find something that I enjoy enough to vape on a daily basis. Cinnamon Roll from MBV is my main favorite. Now I find that it is harmful.....or at least more harmful then I suspected. Unfortunatly I have an order coming today. I am going to find it difficult to have it in my draw and not vape it.

I have often wondered how most of us who smoked, smoked the same "flavor" for years and years and never gave it a second thought. Now.....the search goes on and on for that "special flavor" !!

On a side note.....does Graham Cracker contain Cinnamon. ?? That is another of my favs.

I, like a lot of other folks, am wondering what is "safe"

for years, we all inhaled hundreds of proven carcinogenic chemicals into our lungs and justified it. now everybody is in a tizzy about cinnamon? if it bothers you, stop doing it. if not, enjoy. easy peazy ;)

Someone always pops in with this argument and it comes off as snarky every time. Here is my take on it.

I stopped inhaling hundreds of proven carcinogenic chemicals because I wanted to improve my health and prospects for longevity. In other words I made a conscious decision to stop harming myself. The fact that I harmed myself in the past is in no way a good reason to knowingly harm myself now for a flavor.

I respect your right to think as you do but kindly do the same for the rest of us who are concerned about this.

Exactly. It can be a false dilemma.

You smoked once, so you're no longer allowed to care about your health, or the long term health of fellow vapers at all: would you like to buy some anthrax eliquid - delicious and cheap?

That said, this kind of thing can lead to reflex bans or withdrawals, where an objectively more sensible solution might just be a well publicised warning. If the risks are known, risky things can still be sold to a well-informed public.

We just need the research to tell us what the risks really are, and that will take years unfortunately...

I always have the fear that I will be the one to discover the one substance that when vaped accelerates lung disease or damages tissue quicker than any analog ever did. People always say "well we know smoking kills" etc etc. When in reality the cases of lung cancer among non smokers is also very high and the number of 90 year old ladies smoking 2 packs of filterless a day and still kicking are always making news. However, I have to believe that this is better for us than smokes

my apologies if you were offended. like anything else in life tho, you weigh and balance the risks. i mean, that extra piece of cake or second strip of bacon could be a potential killer too, right? if you deny yourself everything in life that you enjoy for fear of harmful effects, it becomes a dreary existence. but that is just my opinion. yours is no doubt different. ;)

Science is science, not drama. despite that Fox News has promulgated that idea. ;)

People also seeem to have a lot of trouble with denial these days, of anything.....it's easy to keep justifying instead of using discipline.

At any rate, not vaping cinnamon juices is not exactly a great feat of denial is it?

If "we all gotta die sometime" why not just go back to cigarettes? It's crossed my mind a few times when I get to thinking like that

Nothing wrong with being careful with our health, it's all we have, really. So why not? I don't eat lunch meats anymore, nitrates proven carcinogenic, I mean, it's not like there aren't other things I can eat instead???

I think it's really easy for healthy people to have the I don't care attitude. Go work in a hospital with people who are struggling with lung disease and cancer and you realize that IF info is presented to you that "might" be a little informative, you take it to heart.

Why not, what's to lose? I'm not suffering because I don't vape cinnamon juice or eat lunch meat.
