i forgot the .3v drop is across a 1.3ohm coil. across a .9ohm coil the drop is .5volts. i have a brick on my hands and this thing has a brass neg post alot of good that did.

i have a legacy....to be totally honest for some reason i feel like i get a large voltage drop...not entirely satisfied, also had to sand down the switch threading, now after quite a bit of ultra fine sand paper work its silky smooth....for a tad more there are much better mods... my legacy sits unused in my drawer:(

Wanna donate it to the needy college student fund? ;)

You could get verified and try to sell it in the classifieds. Or, figure out how to sand down the contacts to reduce the voltage drop. What atty and resistance are you using on the Tesla? How are you measuring the voltage drop, what what is it on the Tesla?

im new here how do u get verified? i did sand down the contacts on the part of button that touches the brass neg post. it is brass now to but the rest of the button that makes contact with the tube looks all crome or stainless. i use the rsst and/or kanger protanks on tesla. the rsst has a 1.3ohm coil so it works. to measure volt drop first i take rsst off mod and use a good volt meter and touch positive pin and side of mod with probes to get battery voltage no load. then i put rsst on mod and take top cap off then put leads of meter on pos screw and neg screw then fire mod. usually with a full charge i see 4.19v at battery and 3.8v under load across screws that coil is mounted to.

i like that one--- i may b the first to complain about the switch but it came crumbly, full of unfinished machine work which I had to polish out.....also, whoever said that the legacy is on par with the poldiac or precise- that just hasn't been my experience whatsoever....
i can feel an immediate voltage drop,
unfortunately i cannot donate and write it off my taxes because if something breaks, its my back up...lol....never hurts to ask tho...';

I would recommend the sentinel clone over the KTS. I own both, and the KTS feels pretty solid, but the sent clone has more adjustments. Both vape great, but I am positive that the sentinel has less volt drop. I use an RSST rba on both. Also a great buy, and very easy to master due to the wick hole being isolated by a plastic washer. Here is a link to the clone kit, but fasttech also sells it by itself. https://www.fasttech.com/products/1398402 And the RSST can be picked at most US vape stores. IMHO you can't get a better setup for the money. Period.

Haha, no worries. Said in jest.

I do kind of like the looks of the Poldiac and big plus too it is the fire button is right where I would expect it to me. Just the 197 dollar price, oof, my bank account cringes at the thought. Well, now the Legacy sounds fidgety and I dunno anymore.
look the poldiac is an incredibly well built and performing device- the legacy is just good- it does what it says...silver plating goes A LONG WAY on the poldiac as opposed to plain brass screws on legacy..... FAVORITE GROUP.jpgdont get me wrong tho...the legacy is a great piece...it just fares poorly compared to the poldiac and similar high end mods....but im sure its miles from any clone...never owned a clone tho.....

Got a picture of the Legacy with an RBA on it?

You're the first person I've talked to who said they have the KTS, how is it? Any fiddling?

I've had the KTS for a couple of months and have run about everything I own on it and have had no problems. I think it looks sharp but is a bit thin on build, literally. I do run a reusable 2 cent on it but probably it's not needed.
I run drippers on it with great results, but like tanks on it for using it on the road due to it's small size with an 18350 in it.
That posted picture is a great looking set up with the skull DT. The IGO L and W do great on it.

+1 on the KTS. I have three plus a Sigelei #8. Each of them sits on my desk every day with its own genny or dripper (also clones) and each with a different flavor of juice. For me, that's the real beauty of cheap clones - I can have so many and keep so many flavors and coil/wick configurations going at the same time. Endless variety. Yes, you have to futz around with most of them - a lot with some of them - and no, there are no fog horns going off in my room, but I get a very satisfying vape from all of them. The high end mechs are beautiful and I don't doubt that the craftsmanship is on another plane altogether, but as has been noted many times in this forum, these things are all essentially just tubes with batteries in them. Most of them can be made to work and some of them work pretty damn well out of the box. There are some really good choices out there for under $50, such as the KTS, the Kamry, the Natural and one or two of the Sigeleis. Get two of those and spend the rest on juice.
