Something to note, having just experienced what replacing good contacts with incredibly low voltage drop contacts can do firsthand:

Your mod is going to run much more efficiently. Meaning if you currently vape at 1.2 ohms, that same 1.2 ohms a gonna be warmer with more voltage being pumped into it.

It's more than just saving batteries or low maintenance or just for sub ohm peeps.

It will increase the power to the coil. So you may find yourself jumping from 1.2 up to a 1.5 ohm coil to stay at your sweet spot.

Im involved in a "contacts" discussion in another forum and it's been dumbed down to my level (so even I understand it). What I'm taking away from it is that everyone will benefit from this upgrade not just sub ohm people.

Your mod is gonna produce more power and use less battery to do it.

Just thinking out loud and sharing some of the discussion: perhaps "High Output" contacts are a better name for them. Nothing like some HOs to kick it up a notch :)

Yesterday I had my first instance where I had to finally take the button out and file it down even again because the plastic had melted past the end of the connection point. So I put in a "notify me by e-mail" request for the sub-ohm kits a few hours ago, and I already got a response that they were back in stock! Perfect timing, ha ha. I'm excited, I can't wait to rebuild my Reo Grand with the upgrade kit. It's hard to believe that my travel mate will be even more durable than it already was, lol. :) Also, on a side note, I had about 4 O-Rings also thrown into the order since I seem to have a personal problem with accidentally washing them down the sink, lmao.

Please excuse me for asking this question. I'm preparing to purchase my first REO Mini 2.1 and as hard as I try to lurk in this thread I still would appreciate some clarification.

Am I correct in assuming that the Mods currently for sale on the site DO NOT have the upgraded Spring? These upgraded springs are schedule to arrive on Weds of this week, at which time all the mods for sale on the site will have the upgraded Springs? Correct?

Thanks in advance for your help and clarification. Please save one for me :)

The grand will require a reo grand rebuild kit
Mini reos will require a mini reo rebuild kit. When I say reo mini that means 18490 mini 2.0 mini 2.1
I dont how to explain it any clearer

Thanks Rob. When the old kits got cleared off the site today, it all makes sense now. The old kits being up on the site confused me.

2xmini kits and 1xgrand kit ordered!

Nice! I've been refeshing the page all day, had to run a few errands, and just saw the updated status now. Glad I jumped on it in time!

Now, what is the trick to keep them looking good? I've heard you have to do something to the copper vein to keep it that color.

I dont know that.. I have had about 6 grands and never did anything to them, they always looked good.
