That's what I do. Quick twist and test that it doesn't vape.

If you are going to keep it in a pants pocket it would be easier to just unscrew the atty imo than making something to prevent it from going off.

This is a great idea for the bike :) Thanks!
here's what i use :
Usual neck lanyard for cellphone, it's easy to keep string between cone and battery.

I got mine this afternoon & so far I'm not happy. I hate to say that because it's the first thing from Janty that I haven't been happy with & I had such high hopes for these atties because all I've been using the last several weeks are LR ones that I went ahead and ordered a 5 pack. So far, every one I've used has an absolute horrible aftertaste (skunky sounds right but it doesn't taste like the burnt taste I'm used to, when I'm low on liquid) that I can't use it for more than a few puffs. My other complaint is that, when I'm using my drip tip from NHaler, for some reason I haven't been able to use the eGo cone on any of the 3 I've tried yet. I can vape if I take the cone off, with my drip tip on, but if the cone is on I get absolutely no vapor. Like, not a little, absolutely none. I honestly thought I had just gotten ones that were already bad until I got to my 3rd one w/the same results, then thought to see what it did if the cone was off.

Has anybody else had any problems so far or did I just get a bad batch, or am I doing something wrong? Janty makes such good stuff I promised myself that if they had something in stock, to buy from them, no matter what the price, so when I saw they were making JOYE LR's (not to mention 5 packs) I jumped at the offer. I'd love to see if they work better after I try to break them in, but if I can't drip w/them then there's really no point anyway. I do have another drip tip coming from Super T, but I don't want to not be able to swap these or return them if it's been more than 24 hours only to find out they really don't work.

me too..having trouble with a V3 switch...is there any way I can re-adjust it. Can't find the 'sweet' spot and it's making me crazy. On the V1 &2 I could take off the cover and re-adhere it with an M3 tape, but this one has me stumped. Does it work the same? Otherwise will have to order a new one, this is a replacement. Had to go back to my V1 standby.
Any help appreciated.

+1, you're not alone. My V3 has been working great until Thursday of last week. Sometimes I hit it, and nothing happens. Other times it comes on, but cuts off before I let off the button. Now I walk around cross-eyed staring at the damn thing the entire time I'm hitting it. So frustrating, I love my 'stick, it's my only device I use while out of the house. I think I'm just going to chunk it and move on to another vendor and device; This is the third replacement I've received from Janty (started with a V2) and it's getting old having to return it every 60-90 days... Good luck with yours!

EasyVapin,
One thing I have noticed is that these LR atomizers come with a TON of primer liquid in them, which I simply blow out and then re-wet the atomizer with the liquid of my liking. I drip with mine exclusively and mine has been going strong for about a week now. This is the first that I've heard of anyone having problems with our LR atomizers, so I'm thinking that there has to be a fix here. Have you tried blowing them out at all?

i'm just glad i saw this post because i really like my cartos but also really like the eGo but was really curious if you could fit the cone on with a carto. i currently use a V4L manual, but love the design of the ego and the battery performance i've been hearing about. basically this is a longwinded THANK YOU as always to this forum :)

I found that to be the case with other vendor's LRs.

Can anyone tell me the lastest discount code? Thanks!

Well I have now had my LR atty's for 4 days now and must say they do a very good job on my Ego. Batt. life went from 10 hrs to 6 hrs tho, ,but that's because I got a 20 ml bottle of janty RY4 and it's all most gone :(. Down to about 1 ml if that.

Now I have only used 2 of the LR atty's ( one that came free and one from my 5 pak). I first blew them out, added my juice and vaped for ever . Now at the end of the night I use a pair of tweezers to hold the addy and BLAST hot water through it, blow it out, dry it off put it back on my Ego and do a few dry burns. It still hit great and have had ZERO probs with mine and I have really been stressing the hell out of them. I must say with my hard core vaping ( holding down button for 8 secs, get a mouth full, inhale and do it again for hrs straight ) this Janty LR atty is the best damn thing I have come across besides my Ego.

Way to go guys, you did it right.

The Internet
just got my janty about a week ago and only a couple times did things seem out of place to me. One thing i found that seems to be a factor is how hard i've tightened the atomizer. like 1/10 turn in either direction makes a difference on the pull and amount of vapor. also seems to always work flawlessly on passthrough. i'm super new to this so i'm still feeling it out. maybe this info will help somebody? lol

- slip ;)

One of the things that appealed to me about getting the eGo was the fact that I could use my standard 510 attys on it. But I'm finding my on-hand 510 attys just don't do the trick for me like my attys that came with my eGo and the attys I ordered from Janty.
Is it all in my head or has anyone else experienced this? Maybe it's just because my Janty attys are newer. I don't know.

Yeah, I did try blowing out the primer liquid, but I'll be sure to try and really clear them out when I switch back to them in a few days. I've done enough business with you guys, compared to many other vendors, that if there aren't any other people complaining about the same issues, I'll chalk it up to "user error" instead of a problem with the product itself.

I've had time to think a little (and do a little research) & I realized that those DrewTips don't work well with any of the Janty atty's but I've ordered a new tip from Super T manufacturing so once it arrives I'll get back to trying the new LR ones from Janty. That was my biggest concern, that they weren't working at all with the cone on them, once I realized it was all because of that specific drip tip it alleviated most of my concerns.

Until that one gets here & the weekend arrives where I'll have more time to try them out, I won't be able to mess with it again but I know that at least 3 of them work so I'm willing to give your company the benefit of the doubt & try them again instead of trying to send them back in the 24 hour window that comes with them if they are DOA, which they aren't, anyway. I'm sure it's something on my end.
