Got my answer! The janty adapter is a shell of the 801 with 901 threads at the bottom near the base inside. The 901 fits down inside. It could be used on a mini pipe but it would be easier (and more easily obtained) to use one of the small ring adapters.
Thanks so much for the advice and have a great Halloween!

So it IS pronounced Yanty! Mystery solved.

That thing looks awesome. The atty sleeve is a really nice touch. Makes it look slick and polished. Please keep the glow button! It makes it stand out from all the other manual PV's.

Having just received my JS a few weeks ago, I'm quickly becoming a Janty fanboy. = )

Hey guys,

a few updates:

We will make a version like the one in the video and one that is 152mm ( as opposed to the 132mm ) which will have a 500 mAH rating - this will be the "Ego XL".

For the button, i know it looks nice on the video, but it looks a bit cheap in real - you get tired of it in 5 seconds. The black button ( as on the Baby J ) makes this look like intended, timeless and classic!

And thanks for your replies ! ;)

Hi Mary.

Just been reading your posts about the mini pipe and the Janty 901 adaptor.

I have one I use with my Janty Stick so I dug out my mini pipe which I bought 6 months ago and gave it a try....it works great :).

I never got any joy with the mini pipe using the original atomisers and it was redundant in the bottom of a drawer.

I am vaping it now as I type......huge clouds of vapour which I never got before.

So a BIG BIG THANK YOU for your posts which has given me a "new" toy. :)

Hi Hi Never,

I've only had the stick for about a month....

I did try to use no cart and the taste is not there.. Oh yeah, it's a burnt taste I've been getting... I just put a new cart in and got the same thing, so I cut the batting again and it's really a small amount (like half the normal amount), and no burnt taste... This is weird since this new cart was an origional and unused.. I always make sure I have enough juice on the atty, in fear of burning them out...

I'm going to get more attys at the first of the month.. I've got 7 batterys for it and it didn't matter what one I used... I guess it was the batting in the cart burning, but it wasn't even alot... I hope it stays decent without the burning taste, I had to brush my teeth a bunch of time to get the taste outta my mouth *LOL*

Thank You for helping, I truely appreciate it :D :)

Hey

If you have burned your filling at some point that could very well have given your atomizer a bad taste: This especially happens if people tend to just vape for a longer hit-time when the battery dies down, seeing as they actually then heat up the cartridge material - as opposed to just recharging the battery, or drop in new liquid when the vapor begins to die.

If you can drip inside the stick with no filling and there is no bad taste, then that alone is a sign that your filling is too dry for one or the other reason. If this happens, you can always just drip one drop on your atomizer + retop of your cart with 1-2-3 drops - and then keep doing this: Ie. Everytime you top up your cart, put one drop on the atomizer.

In rare cases the atomizer + battery are just producing a bit more heat/voltage than is needed, if this is the case the above should also solve it.

Hope this helps!

Hi Mik,

That's got to be the problem.. Full carts last me a long time even though I don't seem to need to srip onto the atomizer that much comparably ( and I am a heavy vapor)..

It was fine for afew days and then it started to occur again, so it was driving me insane since I never have or had this problem with using my 510...

So, I ordered a 510 adapter.. Got it today and love it.. I'm getting a better taste...

My only problem is connecting to the Janty, which is all my fault...

Weather I use the adaptor or not, seem to be that I need a wrench to get the connection to work.. I know that with the left-right situation with everything is standard, but I wish someone could be out of the norm with things like adapters, so that the adapter can scew into the Janty from left to right, and the atty could screw into the adaptor from right to left, so that when the atty needs to be changed or cleaned, that you could unscrew it without unscrewing the adapter from the Janty at the same time, since I'll need to use a wrench to hook it up all the time..

I know... I think up-side-down *LOL*

Thank You Sooooooooooo Much for your help... I'm still stunned that everyone here on the forum is so nice and that everyone seems to go out of their way for others (you wouldn't get that locally where I live)

:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

I have a number of these for my various iPods and thought there should be something similar for the Janty Stick.

Since all the openings on the JS are on the top, this would be an easy fit if constructed right. Plus a slit on the bottom side for the USB port.

This could keep the JS from scratches and provide a bit of shock protection if dropped.

Hey Christena,

At the moment i dont think there are any plans for 901 or 801 atomizers for the Ego - it simply wont fit while having the atomizer cover on.

We might be able to make something work with the 901, but .. time will tell.

I wouldnt be too worried though - smoking a 510 on this is .. well - its like smoking and discovering the 801 for the first time. The smoke is so big and warm and the feel of the ego just ... well doesnt make you want anything else in my opinion!

But i will check up on it!
