Okay - I owe Janty a big apology for getting so frustrated over the JS I received. The Stick is a wonderful product - I found out last night how wonderful it is, how awful the poly cart filling is, and apparantly what a terrible dripper I am! ROFL

I tried out a variation of the Brass Screen mod that I found (link in the title line) using the stainless steel mesh from a BrewRite permanent coffee filter ($5-6 at WalMart) and what a difference it made! Both attys came to life (yeah apparently neither one of them had died - maybe I just wasn't using enough fluid???) producing prodigious amounts of vapor, flavor and throat hit! Was worried about flooding the atty, but so far it hasn't. I filled up a single atty before I left for work this morning, and vaped on it all the way to work (1.5 hour commute), consistantly great vaping the whole trip!

From what I can tell now, no problems with the attys - it was just the poly filling and then my feeble attempts at dripping that were giving me all of the problems. I sincerely apologize to Janty for my frustration, and tip my hat to you for making such an awesome product! :) I'll bet it will be hard for the Tesla to outperform the mod I'm using now, however! ;)

get a 510 battery to 901 adapter (I got mine from madvapes) and get some KR808d-1 cartomizers (you have plenty of places to choose from...me..I'd probably go with a handful of blanks from midwest vapor...or some premium cartomizers from V4L...or even better wait about a week for the even newer and premium-ier ones from vapornine..

Will do. Thanks!!

id say 2-3 drops is about the right amount for a 510. On the other hand 8-9 sounds like too much on a 801 atomizer - the recommended for that is about 3-5 drops - any more than that and you are decreasing vapor production; you will end up puffing alot before you get the "good vapor" - so you might as well just drip less, like 3-5 ! ;)

And yes, the eGo has a magnificent taste - personally i prefer it over the 801 without a doubt!
Hi Mik, I received today my black automatic Janty Ego set, actually I had to order it from dietsmokes.com before I couldn't wait until Janty had it in stock. My first impression is like many others in this forum: WOW! It's beautiful, sleek, powerful..I have been vaping since this morning, no problems at all with anything... I have right now only prefilled cartridges and some liquid, my question is, when the current cart I am using will be finished, can I drip 2/3 drops directly on it, and how often I can repeat this. In other words how long can I use a cartridge for dripping and how will I find out that I should use another one? Thanks.

When most people talk about dripping what they are doing is using and empty cart (no filler) and they remove the cart and drip 3 or 4 drops of juice directly into the atomizer.. Put the empty cart back on and vape...

If you remove a cart with filler and top it off then you can put as many drops as the filler will take (it will pool on the top of the filler) to let you know it's full... Dab the pool, replace the cart and vape till dry...

Hope that helped explain it...

I would not recommend directly dripping onto the atomizer with an automatic battery. As for when you shouldnt use the cart filling material anymore, its quite simple - when it seems to "repel" the liquid you pour onto it / when it stops absorbing - thats when you take out the filling material and rinse it under water, - then dry it out, and reuse it!

All I did was charge my batts until the green light came on. One had a mostly full charge already, so the green light came on right away, and the other took several hours to fully charge. Now both of them are working great.

humm.. the first battery i tried switch to green almost instantly out-of-the-box ... maybe i should just start using it.. but its not like it my only vaping device in the house.. ah.. the joy of playin with new toys :D
