Maybe these attys are best used for some flavors moreso than others. Or maybe they just needed breaking in or perhaps I was just doing something wrong last time. I'll have to try the other flavors out of this atty again sometime and see if I still get the same result. But right now, with this tobacco flavor, it's working great.

Yes, I think the flavors must have something to do with the level of satisfaction when using the LR's. Since trying the LR again a few days ago, I've been using 555, Boba's and this incredible butter rum flavor and all 3 work extremely well. TH is just right even on longer draws and the flavor is very, very close to standard atty levels. On the other hand, with my RY4X, RY4 and also the Camel flavor the experience is far less satisfying - these flavors seem to work much better with a standard atty. All in MHO, of course, and YMMV. Bottom line, as most of us probably know there is a learning curve with the e-cigs but once you start getting it dialed to your particular preferences, it really is an amazing experience! I'm sitting in a beach house staring out at the ocean on a beautiful sunny day, vaping some 555 on a LR and I must say life is pretty damn good at the moment :D

There is a considerable difference between the two, as one is an 801 system (the Stick) and the other a 510 system (the eGo). The 801 is far mellower in taste than a 510, and it is entirely a matter of said taste which one you do prefer. Although most people seem to prefer the 510 (so do I) the 801 has its fans, too, and it's not bad, either.

I had a stick for a while,
now i'm using an eGo with a janty classic atty (801) at the moment using an adaptor.
It performs great like that, same amount of vapor compared to 510 but i get more hit and flavour with the classic atty in this configuration.
what i suggest you is buying an ego and a 501to801 adaptor.
Also i like to drip and you can stick up to 7 drops into the original janty classic or joye302.
you'll be able to use both atty models and the amazing ego battery.

I have both a Jantystick V3 and an Ego, I like both for different reason. I got a 510 adapter for my V3 though so I can use the 510 attys with it. I found the 801 lacking. The ego uses a 510 atty and I love love love it!

I think it comes down to personal preference, some people like a stronger throat hit, and I recommend the ego for that one. But either way, they are both great products.

I will give you a few cons though:

The V3 needs charging more. I've also had to dry wipe the interior of it more until I figured out how much liquid I needed per a session. A pro is that the button doesn't self press in my purse.

The Ego button (I have a manual battery & I drip, no carts) can get pressed in my purse, but purchasing a small case with a hard shell seemed to solve that problem. I hear that you cannot drip using the automatic battery at all. Not sure about the manual, but I've been doing it, so far so good.

I'm also fairly new to this, so they are both user friendly.

The V3 can use multiple atties with the adapters. The batteries are not as long lasting as the EGO but I just carry an extra battery with me and all is good. Extra batteries are very small so I see that as an advantage from carrying around an extra much bigger EGO battery. Even if the EGO lasted and lasted I would want to carry an extra battery just in case.

So this might be a stupid question but if I get the Janty Dura-C PT and use my 510 eGo/Dura atties on it will I get the same performance as I do from my eGo batteries? They both put out the same amount of volts, right?

Also, can you tell me with certainty that there is not going to be an eGo battery with a USB PT coming out any time soon? I'd really hate to buy this Dura-C PT and then see new eGo batteries with a PT built in come out later.

Hi, been thinking about trying the same thing as I'm a long-time Stick/801 user. How's the batt life with the eGo batt???

I take it you also don't use the cone...or does it fit over the 801???

If the adapter is long enough I guess the 801 can stick up out of the cone otherwise it must be removed which will ruin the look of the device :( I get 6 - 8 hours from my Ego batteries with moderate use hopefully you guys will get the same :D I agree that the 801 attie is a great dripping machine with a mellow flavour, great throat hit too :)

The sick uses an 801 atomizer which usually gives more flavor than a 510 but of course some swear by the 510. I get much more flavor and a longer life from 801's. They both make a sufficient amount of vapor.

glad ive read this has i have both attys and i though it was me not getting on with the 510 as i find the 801 better
thanks

You have to try it, you will be amazed how a janty 801 classic/tawa atty or joye302 do perform with an ego battery.
It performs waaaay better than the stick+801.
great throat hit, great vapor and great taste, the vapor it's just less warm than the standard configuration with 510 though.
Unfortunately you can't keep the cover with this configuration.
Battery life is unsane on a ego+jantyclassic.
You just need to maintain your classic or classic tawa atomizer in good conditions using this method and you're set.

I love Janty 801 classic atties, they are the best if well maintained.
they have the best vapor, flavor and hit IMO.
I've seen some vendors are starting to sell LR 801 atties, i'm wondering if janty will ever make a LR version of his Classic atty.
My ego + adaptor + LR classic would be a dream,
and a Baby J + LR classic would be a blast.
