awesome will have to pick one up .. then .. also am wounder about the switch in the auto will this be fine to drip in cause I know I and many others have had problems with dripping in auto batts...

I just got my replacement for the original 510 adapter yesterday and I have to say I am completely disappointed. Very poor performance in the vapor and throat kick area. I guess I need to order one from somewhere else.
Isn't that what was said about the Janty Stick and now there isn't even an auto version available any longer...
Yes I have the Janty 801 to 510 adaptor. Yes I find a big difference between the 2. With Janty adaptor hardly any throat hit & vapor & altsmoke adaptor is nice throat hit & vapor... It was just like I was using my 510.. I also like that it sits down farther in too. I just make sure the adaptor end is tight on att & just snug the other end in, so u can get it out. Works for me.. Just wish I had tried this out before I bought Janty's adaptor.

We will begin production of 1000 Ego's on the 20th of november, and plan to have them IN shops, on the 1st of december!

Theres a big difference, i think.
The auto design requires that you are able to open and clean from time to time, plus the jantystick auto was not - to my knowledge - capable of handling any excess liquid inside it - the Ego is - and you can open and clean it.
So no, not the same thing =)

As for the dura adapter, i found that if you can get a hold of the mouthpieces/filters from the 901 atomizers - the ones that have a flat mouthpiece, they fit so hard inside the adapter, that you can use one of those to unscrew it with.
Doesnt help much, but thats all ive got =D
Oh - and i just posted a new thread on how to clean your atomizers properly, you might wanna check this out also - every little bit helps, and i find with the 801 atomizers, that they are a bit sensitive, compared to the dura's!

esz could u explain how to remove this on Janty adaptor.. I would like to try this also if I knew how to do it.. I read the other thread where u said how to do it but i did not understand what u were saying.

I went ahead and ordered one of the AltSmoke units. There goes another $18 into making my Janty Stick a usable unit! Between the two 801 attys I tried (plus shipping), the $20 Janty adapter (plus shipping) and now the AltSmoke unit, I think my JS is worth about $150!!!!

Well, the wife unit originally gave thumbs up to the adaptor- now I'm embarrassed to say she won't use the stick and adaptor anymore because a manual 510 batt and atomizer give much better performance. I did a side by side on the two myself and agree. I ordered some altsmoke adaptors so the sticks wouldn't go to waste for occasional use and Chucks for everyone in the house. Figured it would be cheaper in the long run.
I wish it would have worked out different- I love the stick's form factor- to get the length I would need/want on altsmoke adaptors, I'd have to buy 3 for one stick (an 801 to 510, a 510 to 801, and then a 801 to 510) and screw 'em all together for the right length. Just too tough. I modded the adaptor I had but after a couple weeks it fell apart from the manipulation I had to do to it (worked great for a while with no resistor- very sweet) but I don't want to try it again and end up having to pitch it in a few weeks.
This is so disappointing. But, Janty has the right to design to their specs and there probably is some reason they want that resistor in there- maybe someone will like it and it will sell well and work for some. It doesn't for me, but that's just my opinion.

I like that Janty is going to higher maH batteries with the Baby J and such, but since they haven't addressed why the resistor question in the adaptors we got, it makes me leary that if they are making units for 510 atomizers with higher maH batteries, will they be somehow putting that resistor design into the Baby J? Easy to do. At least I know it's in the adaptor- but with no explanation, I gotta presume its part of their basic plan and design. I won't pick up a J until they do address this question.

This is the first adaptor I bought from Janty & very disappointed with it.. What gets me is this was suppose to be fixed from the first adaptor?????? For 20 bucks u would think it would be.. Don't mean to be harsh but for 20 bucks u could have done better than that... I wonder if altsmoke had a js they would probably make one just for us maybe.. I like there adaptors & the one I got does work, but would be nice to have the right size in the stick too......

You realize that's 10 days from start of production to available for delivery, right? I'm betting against even getting close to that. Odds?
Agreed!! But what possible electrical reason could they have? All we'er trying to do is connect the 3.7 volt battery to the atty. Literally just replace the 810 connector with a 510 connector. It should be a direct contact. A resistor could serve no purpose but to decrease performance.
What's really disappointing is that we've been discussing this on these threads and no one from Janty has addressed it. I even PM'd Ludo a few days ago and he didn't respond. I asked Mik in another thread and he told me to ping Ludo.
Janty NEEDS to come forward and tell us all who invested $20 in thier product why they put this performance-reducing component in!!!
You'll recall that the product was out there a while ago and people were unhappy so they pulled it to fix it. This "new" model has zero change.
C'mon Janty, tell us what's going on!
