I have a question bout the Janty stick v2 before I buy it. Since it doesn't come with a charger for the batteries, when using the usb pass thru set up, like attaching the mini usb to a usb port, Does this charge the batteries? I currently have pen style rn4072 with usb passthru with the apc mobile power pack. If i were to plug the Janty.V2 into my power pack will it CHARGE the batteries inside it? Thus not buying a charger because it doesnt include one.

Yes, the USB connection will charge the battery in the device (and you can use the device while it is charging). Not sure about the power pack, seems like it should as long as it's putting out the required voltage/current required by the stick, but ask Janty.

Ok, so it's here.
Why did I pay 12 in shipping for a bubble envelope?
There are no instructions; did you get any?
I can twist the atom forever and it never stops.
What's the deal?
Also, you'd think they could've included a cart with it, not just a mouthpiece.

At least you got yours. I paid $12 shipping and haven't gotten anything.
I bought mine last tuesday morning 7/7 and it hasn't shipped yet. (yes, I did everything according to confirmation email).
Sent an email this morning asking why. Got a response that it will ship today... "sorry for the delay". No explanation.
How long would I have waited if I hadn't emailed this morning?
Needless to say, I am less than thrilled with my first purchase with Janty.

Oh nice, That'll mean I don't have to ever worry about not having power. How long does one of those batteries last for? And you can use the passthru to charge and vape at the same time? I read people having problem with the atomizer it comes with. Which atomizer would work the best with Jantyv2.

To give you an idea, I've had my stick coming up on two months, and I still have the original battery in it that I put in it the day I got it. I just stay "tethered" when I'm near a computer. I've had zero issues. This is one of the most wonderful and lazy features of the Janty Stick.

How did I break the atomizer?
I have done nothing to it except attempt to put it in.

Who did you order from, Janty?
Mine came with 5 carts of RY4 two batteries, the stick, a manual, a usb recharger/passthrough, and a nice little carrying case.

Make sure you're pressing down pretty tight, its not the easiest atomizer to get it in, its a tight fit.

I ordered mine 6-28 as a preorder.
There was a problem in that I ordered mine one night and paid the next day. I also had to email them to ask where it was.

Seems the clock passing midnight gives their system fits.

Yes, got the atty in.
Puffs fine now.
Does the 801 fit?

For someone who has never seen an actual v1, how do you tell by looking that you have a v2?

yes the 801 atty does fit. Its just a very tight fit. You got kinda puch a little bit to get it in, then, while keeping some good pressure screw it in, and give an extra little twist, once you think its screwed in.

The looks of the V1 and V2 are exactly the same, I've tried a V1 and heard all the problems with it, plus by the usb port on the V1, vapor comes out once and a while, on this one it doesn't. Also through doing further inspection you can really tell that the inside is sealed very well this time as to before with the V1.

    I don't think you broke anything -

Here is what happened with my V2 - Same as you - Kept turning and turning - What I found was there was a bunch of residual sealant material on the threads and it was not even getting on there - I had to use pliers to get it on there - REALLY REALLY HARD TO TURN - Because you have to dig your way through the offending material - Yes it did scratch all the finish off my atty where I gripped it - and warped the top part -

When you get it on - Take it back off and you will notice that the threads are full of little bits of black stuff (the sealant) Clean it out - Blow and shake out the hole out to get any more that may have dislodged - and REPEAT until you don't seem to be getting any more material out - Took me about 15-20 times on and off - I have had mine for 4 days now and today is the first day that I can get the atty on and off without pliers - Still it sometimes brings up little bits of sealant -

I contacted Ludo about this and he basically said that it was normal - Personally- Though I can see how it would be easy to put too much sealant on it - I really don't think that this should be called "normal" - Sloppy patch job is what I call it - It should also be normal to clean up your sloppy work before shipping it out - This is the first time I have had anything negative to say about Janty- I am still a fan - I just do not find this acceptable -

Someone asked how to tell a V1 from a V2 - There are two ways that I know of -The switch on the V1 makes a clicking sound - The V2 switch does not - The other way is to look down inside the atty hole - If you see a big glob of black sealant - that's a V2 - IF you see no sealant and a little red wire - That's a V1 -

This is the only observable difference - The sealant and the Switch - Suposedly there was work done on the wiring - But you can't see that -
I describe it as the V1.03 - It is really not a new version - Just the old version with some patches on it -

Don't get me wrong - I still think it is the best you can get for the money - But - I do not find this sealant problem to be acceptable - The customer should not have to do cleanup work on the sealant job - Particullarly when that proceedure messes your atty's up - A bad batch of switches is one thing - But not cleaning up your work - that's just not cool -
