Got me. Something is clearly wrong with that spec, maybe a typo? Because if it were 50 mm of glass height, it would make for a giant Merlin with a really long chimney to reach the top cap, and that can't be correct. I'm inclined to believe it's a FT error and I wouldn't order it until clarification.

Not unusual for FT to screw up descriptions, I'm sure that is the case here. The chimney appears to be somewhere between 5-10 mm shorter, not a huge difference, but enough to change the look, and possibly improve flavor slightly.
Any tank which has a "nano" kit available I've purchased, as a rule it improves flavor. Capacity will obviously be reduced, which does not bother me, but to some that will be a negative.
Going by the picture that glass looks to be very near 20ish mm in height.
I'll be ordering a couple to try them out along with the Taifun III

Just wanted to quickly pop in and say thanks for this atty. Got one yesterday and I'm very happy with it. Great to build on, great flavour and it somehow doesn't drink loads of juice.
It's pretty much perfect for this single coil vaper.
One thing I will say is that I've ignored the wicking advice seen on YT videos. I'm actually threading the wicks all the way through the holes at the bottom of the deck and trimming them afterwards and poking the cotton back in a bit so the JF can close properly. Wicks like a trooper and doesn't leak.
Anyone else doing this?

I've noticed the low consumption also. I already bought one as a back up and after I receive the two different tanks I ordered, I might order a couple more Merlins.
I use the Merlin when I've OD'd on my Boreas or Billow V3. Especially the Boreas. Both hold great quantities of juice, great airflow and you can chuck clouds and put yourself in a nic spin in no time flat. The Merlin is a much calmer and sedate vape with some restrictiveness. Still very enjoyable.

I intend to buy additional Merlin from Fasttech which has longer (square) juice hole ($29.99 Authentic Augvape Merlin RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 4ml / stainless steel + glass / 23mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping), however, that seems to come with black spare glass tank.

All the v2 come with 1 clear and 1 black glass. The black on the glass is easily removable giving you an extra clear.
I removed all the black off the glass tubes using under warm tap water and a knife blade. The black film scrapes off very easily.

I have a Kanthal fused Clapton (0.3 ohms) in the one I have on the Wrecker. At 50W/480F yeah it's a juice pig, a very flavorful and dense juice pig though!
