    Somewhere between here and there
The funny thing is I placed two orders on the same day from the same place. I received the one without the tank almost two weeks ago and still haven't received the engine. I'm looking forward to trying it. In the meantime I got a siren tank and an elitar pipe this week to keep me occupied for now.

Question about leaking and wicking: I used to have the cotton covering the juice flow holes and never had a problem. Lately I've been using ReadyxWick with the ends of the wick just above the juice flow holes. And I read in the Merlin RTA manual that these holes shouldn't be covered. However, I'm getting steady leaking or seepage between the mod and the tank base. Today when I filled up the tank with the juice holes CLOSED I got moderate leaking through the airholes.

I'd really hate to use another piece of ReadyXWick because it takes so long for it to taste good but I'm wondering if putting the wick ends deeper and covering the juice flow will help.

The leaking/seepage has been occurring with the juice flow opened or closed. I'm using 70PG 30VG liquid.

@Herrick - I've never had leaking or seeping like you (and others) have described, so I don't know if this is your fix...but I always fill the juice wells with cotton. Sometimes I'll poke it back from the juice holes a bit, but I usually don't even bother.

I gather that most people prefer to leave a lot of the wells open for juice reserves, to avoid dry hits. But I've never gotten a dry hit with my 60VG juice, and I don't imagine you'd have a problem with 70PG either. Wick on full! Maybe try it with cotton first to see if it helps.

Yeah I'm going to try cotton again. The RxW can't be fluffed up and spread around like cotton. We'll see what happens. I really like the low maintenance of RxW but if I have to go back to cotton then I will.

I cooked my merlin coil a while ago, just tossed the atty into my to be washed bin and it sat as I piled up subtank parts and empty jugs and steeping jars. Went to wash it and now the main body is glued together and I can't get it apart......when will this Merlin curse end!!! I tried to get it apart, feeling like I was going to break the glass so I quit, tried rubber gloves, elastics, freezing and still no joy. I'm assuming its from removing the top part to fill then when putting it back on and I didn't over tighten nothing, your adding torque to the oring in the chimney with every refill then it eventually glues itself together. This is the final nail that is going into the merlin coffin for me. This atty almost became as frustrating as when I tried cartos and couldn't get them to work properly. RIP Augvape Merlin, my eulogy is going to consist of 3 letters... POS
