Yes, that makes sense but I'm not sure how to adjust my juice for MTL. Increase flavor? I'm sensitive to PG so I'm not real crazy about doing that. Some of my juices make me cough when I MTL but don't when I lung inhale.
Idk, the one that comes to mind atm was blue ras slushy. The store bought stuff was great in a dripper but not a tank. I think I went through a few different percentages of osdiy mixed with a cple other flavors before settling on how I make mine now. What do you usually mix your ratios at?

Max VG. PG in small amounts is ok in some juices but it's just easier to use just VG and not worry about coughing or harshness.

Lol, but it could be adjusting to suit the Merlin so wouldn't say off topic really.

I'd like to be able to say that but my juice tastes funny in the Kayfun also. I only wanted a MTL atty so I could vape where I'm not suppose to. I didn't really just say that. So I'll adjust 1 flavor that will work in the Kayfun and leave it at that.

My mixes are between 75 and 86 vg. What flavor is it you are working with.

At the moment, FW strawberry. FW flavors are weak so I have to use a lot. I used 30% flavor, 12mg nic back when I use to MTL. Last I tried was 28%, 3mg nic. That still made me cough. I'll probably try 25% next.

Interesting, I use tfa strawberry, tfa ripe strawberry and cap sweet strawberry at 1% each for a nice rounded strawberry flavor. Use them that way in a couple mixes, what's the lowest you've tried it at?.

I've tried those strawberries that you mentioned and didn't like them. I love FW strawberry. The lowest I've tried (FW) so far is 20% but the flavor wasn't there. It's got to be between 20 & 28%. I'll keep trying. ;)

Individually they weren't to my liking either. Mixed at 1% each though with 10-12% tfa licorice makes for a nice red vine. Same straw mix with 5% cap sweet watermelon and 5% tfa watermelon makes an ok strawberry front side lite watermelon backside for me too. One thing I have noticed though with the strawberry-watermelon is it needs a good week or two steep where as red vine is shake and vape.

Go to a hardware store and find the thinnest 7/8 inch diameter nylon or mylar washer to use as a spacer on the stupid shallow joyetech 510 connections...

Yep, that was my plan exactly (having seen the "Mod Savers" suggestion much earlier in the thread, and figuring the hardware store would have the needful). It's way too pretty a device to be sticking up there on a pole.

The ones in my sig, TreeBox, and the Efusion DNA 200, plus just to throw it a curveball i threw it on my old MVP 30...same problem on all 3. Tired of this i contacted my mate under whose account we both ordered one and got him to check his (he hadnt even unwrapped his yet) on his identical Efusion DNA200 and it fits his and other mods perfectly, no wobble or gap. So its clear mine is defective.

Im getting rather tired of returning badly made stuff, thats the 5th dodgy (for a range of reasons) tank in a year.

So yet again, ill get screwed on the postage sending it back and ill come out on the minus side.

At least when i sent my Crown tank back the lovely head of Uwell i sent my tank to personally refunded the postage as well, and threw in a replacement tank which i paid forward (its had mixed success with its owner). Once i get screwed by vape gear that brand/model is dead to me for good, i do not do replacements. The only company ill give a second chance to is Uwell, they at least did do customer service (unlike say, JoyeTech), admitted there was an issue openly (unlike say, JoyeTech) and resolved it (unlike say, JoyeTech)

Vape manufacturers need to lift their game.

If you haven't returned it yet, and own a caliper, tell us/me the length. I'll check mine which fits all the mods I've put it on.

Sorry, i dont own calipers on a good day, i live in the city, and no man shed :)

The only tools i own are the pliers and screwdrivers, allen keys (for the hex head screws i retrofitted in my Lemo's) and snips i use to build :)

But in any event the Merlin has went....

As i said earlier, my mate and i orderded oine each on the same order, his is fine. Another guy i know has the same issue with the long pin. So of the 3 i know of in Oz, 2 have long pins...or did have until the other guy form our forums filed his 510 down. I think we're all across the fact that i dont play that :)

Im back to my Lemo 2 life, all is good, ive had a 70%vg mix with glue like consistency through it due to 3/4 degrees c, Lemo just keeps ticking, even with its tiny (by todays comparison) juice holes. Every tank gets measured against my Lemo 2's, so far none have been better, all around. Sadly im not sure i like the direction of the new Lemo 3, with a blooming huge airflow trough up the guts and a dual deck :)

Yes it would be nice if everything I bought is 100%, but truthfully that is an unrealistic expectation.

The fact that Augvape has dipped into whatever profit they make to send out replacements to vendors is a pretty fair response to the issues.

Actually, having a properly operating/fitting anything is a quite realistic expectation.
Have I done workarounds on things? Yes. Have I done workarounds on expensive things? No.
In AU, most vaping items are expensive things.

The fact that any manufacturer makes good on a defective item isn't a fair response. It is the only response. If they don't suffer the lost profit, why would they ever make quality products?

Take for example, the Sigelei 213. Apologists excuse the broken, non-working thing. Sigelei makes more of the same in the Fuchai 213.

Yihi had a lousy finish on the M class. They fixed it. ML and Q don't have lousy finish.

I'll go with punishing manufacturers that think I owe them a purchase and to be happy I got anything.

I might add that ive heard didley squat from AugVape since i reported the issue, and before i posted here.

In other news ive just been informed the Lemo 3 may get a single coil focused deck, so its back on the possible tanks list :)

i think they might actually do it, unlike SteamCrave who promised a single coil deck to me "next week", a month ago

Cool, glad you may find vape nirvana in the lemo 3 :). Was it the threaded portion of the 510 or the screw itself that was to long btw? Also, was it the original version or the larger jf holed one?

Well i hope the Lemo 3 rumours are true, would make my life easier, ive owned both previous ones :)

I really couldnt tell you whether it was the threaded base or the pin, sorry. I do wish id had the calipers etc necessary to get that info. Not sure whether it was the original or not, how could i tell? I heard there was a rumoured second one with square jf holes, if this is the case, mine had circular jf holes
