So this is my Lavatube V2.5 with the new Merlin on it.

Also here are a couple of pictures of what I was writing about in my last post. You can see when I take a picture through the airflow slots, there is a little bit of liquid that is just under the center air holes. Not sure if this is normal for this tank or not.

Anyone else have this problem? I am not sure if there is a spot in there for the excess liquid to go. Also I just tried imgur for these images. I was using photobucket before, but it seems to downsize my images quite a lot, which I don't like.

Also does anyone know how I can add these external hosted photos to a post, but make them smaller like a thumbnail? Where I can click on the thumbnail and view the full photo.

My bad then. It looks like the drilled out angled air holes when I tried to look.

Yea, the liquid is just below those holes. I know there is a plate that is under there that the center positive post screws into, but I haven't taken it that far apart. I just hope that the juice doesn't find its way through that positive post screw and leak into the 510 connection.

That could be from a number of things I reckon. Condensation, leftover vapor from not finishing a pull. See if your deck is wet/flooding.
I can look through the top with a flashlight and it looks fine (not flooded). After this tank is empty I think I'm going to clean and rebuild it anyway. I want to try to make a silica and mesh wick. Just having the mesh around the silica wick only in the coil. But looking closer with the light into the air slots, It kind of looks like there is a little depression in the bottom under that center post. Not sure if maybe that is a little bowl for excess liquid to sit. I'll take a closer look at it when I clean it.

Unscrew your copper 510 and see if there is any liquid.
Can you do that while there is liquid in the tank? I don't know much about this tank as I just got it. What does that center copper screw connect to? I ask that because I am not sure if it has to be screwed all the way in, or if it's one of those tanks where that can be unscrewed to adjust for different mods.

Yeah. Turn your tank upside down and unscrew it. It comes out with the peek insulator. Mine has a little liquid on it.
That could be condensation because mine doesnt leak.

I just did that and there wasn't any liquid on the screw itself, but there was a little bit at the bottom of where the screw goes. I just cleaned that up and put it back in.

Also how does that silver plate come off. The one with the name of the tank on it. I took the screw out once but wasn't able to get that bottom plate off.

It screws into the bottom of the positive post. That's the piece that you see when you look through the air slots and is the tube that holds the airflow restrictor in place.

I posted pics of all the base pieces a while back.
