In both, so far great flavor.
I've always loved using ekowool and silica in my old kayfuns. Didn't think it would work in these Merlins but it's working great so far. I didn't think it would cover the liquid intake holes enough but it does.Ive found on th e first run tanks that seeped bad
Make sure the base is completely seated replace all the orings with right sizes and wick like you have yours and the seepage problem either disappears altogether or begins to look like sweating and no more
I had two that seeped bad but after doing these things seepage stopped even in 100 degree heat
My flavor was always great thats why I worked on these tanks so hard
I got the merlin a few weeks ago. This is the second time i got a RTA from an online company (not sure it's ok to name them? They are a great company and i order from them all the time, probably has more to do with the QA person?) Anyway.. looks like the 510 pin was screwed in by someone who forgot to put their glasses on. It was scrathed to hell and looks like it was overtightened to the point that the screwdriver slipped and the slot is all damaged. No big deal, but it is grinding the hell out of my 510 plated connectors on my mods. I'm just worried over time it can cause connection issues on either my mods or the RTA itself? Like if a burr is sticking out and you screw it down, wont it stop screwing once that burr hits the 510 and it wont make full contact? is it safe to sand it down? or is it bad to sand away so that the plating comes off?
Also noticed after a few washes that the inside of the chimney that houses the deck is losing it's paint ( got the black one) Like it's wearing off. Not sure the heat caused it, or it just happened from washing it? Only used small amount of dish soap and ran it under hot water.
Man i freaking LOVE the drip tip on this Merlin. I'm using it right now on my smok tf-rdta and usually use it on whichever tank i'm vaping on.
