I can see how it may be dragon related. But I dont see any dragon. But anyone know what inspired the name Merlin for this tank? Was it the TV show?

Oh well heck I figured it would be more inspiring lol. In the Netflix tv show Merlin has magic and talks to dragons. I think that plays in with the tank better than a parrot. It would even roll with the dragon logo. :) unless the parrot looks like a dragon.

Lol have u seen it. I couldnt imagine me having one. It would be repeating all my bad words. Then I would probably be arguing with it. [emoji34]

I bet she named the parrot Merlin from the TV show, then it still works.

Thank you! I fell asleep last night before I finished, and now I can use this! More time to chat about TV's again!
You are most welcome, Enjoy!

Instead of TV's we should have a discussion on headphones and tubes... :w00t:

Oooh, nice. Yeah, we could tie up this thread for endless pages between audio and video. There is something soothing about staring into the glow of those tubes.:):thumb:

Actually I have a quick question about wire. I still use kanthal, but I notice all the wires they use for vaping now like titanium, nickel, gold, uranium, barbed wire, and razor wire. [emoji38]. Are any of them drastically better than the others? Any seem to work best in the Merlin? Thanks.

Digging my merlin this morning with a 0.38 ohm pre-coiled clapton @ 42.5w with some super charged heaven ry2k juice. Not quite the same amount of flavor I get out of my dual coil tanks (gemini with clapton, griffin with micro coils) but it doesn't drink the juice nearly as fast either obviously.

Well, uranium is great at night for the glow, and the razor wire is perfect for flossing. Otherwise I stick with SS as it can be used in both power/wattage mode or temp mode. Excellent for when you forget which coil is in which tank. I wouldn't rate one above the other specifically for the Merlin, it's all a matter of do you want to use TC, and if so, then choose between Ni, Ti, or SS (I go with SS for the above reason).

So I take it most people are using ss wire nowadays then right? What gauge and target ohm range do you go for? I am sill in the dinosaur era with my Kanthal then. Also wouldn't the SS wire be a little harder to wrap then kanthal?

BTW. I just got my first DIY juice kit in the mail. I think I might use the kayfun 3.1 clone for testing my juices.

The symbol on the Merlin is revealed earlier in this thread. No clues this time. Treasure hunt!

As it was me who last brought it up a day or so after I got mine (a month ago?) I'll agree with this.
Took all of five or six posts and the issue was settled (was probably discussed earlier as well).

So... Treasure Hunt it is (much as I'd like to hit Vinny with a cluebat, oops I just did). :p

Well I just broke down an used Credit to get a new pico mod for the merlin. My lavatube is just about SHOT. I barely bump it wrong and the dang tank is reading 0.0ohm. Then I have to dig the center post up in the Lavatube to get it to halfway work for the next few hours.
The Pico is nice but hope your tanks don't leak on it. My Griffin leaked over it and it got inside the unit. Now the thing acts like the up button is always pressed down.

I hope not. I am pretty good about checking for leaks and proper o ring placement.
