It was the weirdest thing, I used the Griffin, filled it up at night and in the AM, it was empty. While using it, it doesn't leak

I've been running 316ss on mine too. I think it gives a little cleaner flavor than kanthal. One other reason I like the idea of using stainless is that 316 is food grade stainless. I don't know if it means anything but in my mind it seems like a good reason to use it.
I use 28G 316L. The coil I made yesterday was 9-10 wraps (?memory) came in at right around 1 ohm. Same build for dual coil on my Crius and came in 0.5 ohm. If you want a subohm single coil with SS, 26G should be fine. Also some folks who use SS for TC prefer SS430, which has a better TCR for more accurate TC over 316L.
Depends what res I'm shooting for, I don't go either super low or generally over 1.0.
26g 316L is fine for both single and duals (usually) though I'm enjoying the fat 24G singles I've put in my Bachelors. gotta hit it with a tad moar powah... but it really produces.
430 is a new ongoing experiment... several of us have some gauges other than Unkamen's 28G from a UK vendor, but there may be an issue with the alloy being wrong.
Won't hold it against them yet... nothings for sure yet, and 430 is great when working.

Just noticed that the glass on mine is a little off.It sticks over the edge of the base and top cap a little more on one side then the other.After going back in the thread a little I can see the same thing in some of the pictures here.Can someone else confirm if there glass looks the same? It hasn't caused any leaks I am just curious if they are all like that.

The symbol/logo actually has a meaning. Seek and ye shall find!
I think it is just because the way they make the glass, it is flared a little to make it smooth and also helps the O ring to set.

They are made in china. Lol plus I am not certain but I would think the glass is probably an injection type mold. Maybe ran by a bunch of slaved 10 year old kids.
