I was thinking of doing the same. My deck works ok but is very airy fully closed. Luckily it's right where I like it fully closed.
Was going to ask if I ordered two more if they'd hold them till a replacement deck arrived and ship it all at once. Sounds like you went that route and got denied.
I can understand their frustration with what I can only imagine is a high number of returns / replacements. Especially following the Boreas oring fiasco.
I guess I'll go the "wait a bit for the price to drop on fasttech and hopefully by then augvape will have their .... together" route.
Gotta hand it to Roxy. This is my new favorite tank. Sucks that QA seems to be missing at Augvape.

I used outer band that came with the Merlin. Cut it to 21 mm so it wasn't visible. Used a hole punch in the center. Can't see it under the atty.

I had a problem with my base. Purchased from Ecigity. Sent an email, they shipped the base immediately. No charge. Expected to be in mailbox tomorrow.
Great customer service. I was going to buy from STS but chose Ecigity. Glad I did.

Yes, eciggity has been great for me as well, I chose Subtanksupply for two reasons, first was a little less time to receive the package, and not as important at the time I saved a couple bucks. The additional cost incurred by charging me to ship a replacement part so I get a Merlin which works as its supposed to negates the small savings.
Next time I'll take the couple extra days in transit. I'm pretty sure if I had purchased from Eciggity I would have already had my fixed parts at no additional cost. As it stands right now I have no ETA as to when I'll even get my replacement, when I asked for an ETA I was told "I hope they shipped yesterday"
When asked if it could be added to a new order to save both of us a couple bucks I was told he couldn't do it, and even if they had the parts in stock I would need to pay the $2.45 to add it to a new order. Pretty lame of a vendor if you ask me.

Not sure what has happened. I ordered a Boreas from STS when they were first released. It got lost in shipment. I contacted STS, and they sent another one the next day at no charge. Got it a couple of days later.

I bought my first Boreas from them as well, it had issues, they took care of it, I got my replacements a little on the slow side, but was not charged for them. That is the way it should work, unfortunately it seems to have changed. My last order I placed from SubtankSupply I was confident that if issues arose they would be taken care of in a positive manner. I recommended them with no hesitation to others looking for supplies I knew they had. My confidence in them as a vendor is no longer valid.
Send the vendor the link when this part of the thread started, so they can see the potential of negative publicity. Public can read the posts, but must join to comment. It hurts worse when it hits the WALLET!
My two Merlins should be here tomorrow, hopefully I have no issues with them. I can guarantee that it will not be $2.45 to send new bases to Canada if need be.

I agree with ccwaters that we should not have to pay for something that was already purchased and expected to be working. STS needs to get reimbursed from Augvape for stock and shipping.

Why vape unflavoured?, heres 3 reasons right off the top of my "i vape 99.9% unflavoured" head
1) It vapes right away, no steeping
2) It stops you chasing miracle expensive unicorn tears flavours that cost the earth and dont deliver
3) Its satisfies the cravings in the most simple way known to man
you could try it, save yourself a bucketload of money spent on things you either toss or take up room in a drawer until you toss them. Ive been vaping unflavoured pretty much non stop for over a year...my first convert who smoked for 40 years, tried flavour after flavour as newbies do, then settled down into 6 months (so far) of nothing but unflavoured, after smoking 40 years.
I understand if on principal no one wants to order from them. I had to pay the $2.45 too. But if someone does want to, be assured he has weeded out the bad ones, he told me he spent 3 days at the warehouse going through each package one by one. Taking out the bad ones even pulled all-nighters to sort them all & get a tally so Augvape can send replacement decks to him.
Just one of many places, but I buy from them. I add flavor to mine but am thinking to not, never tried it exactly.
