˄Yes…much is lost in translation.

I’d like to see a little more info for these new QF/SK coils there are coming out with, and whether they are compatible with NRG/Cascade type tanks. So far all I’ve seen is “All GT coils Adapted” – leaves a lot open for interpretation.

Perhaps you misunderstood it is always this way with design in manufacturing anything. The designers only get a few attempts before they release to market testing. This is why there are a lot of dodgy products on the market generally. The e cig market suffered more than most though.....So the way it goes is if it sells there is nothing wrong and if it doesn't they either scrap it or improve :D Always has it been so.

Personally the I think the quality issue stems from location of most manufacturing.
A- They are quickly copying each other as well as others, so to make a profit they want to be the first on the market.
B- They don't have to worry about a flop being returned, it's just not their problem. They can't be sued so who cares.

Now I'm in no way saying that China or any Far East country doesn't produce quality goods. They do produce solid products. They generally get the bad name because they provide what a company pays for, fast cheap and usually junk items.

This is what generally happens, companies know they contract something to be made cheaply, approve it before mass production begins. Then when problems arise, they blame it on the factory to save face and start all over again with something else.

You're right though, they play us all for fools. I think a lot of it has slowed down due to people being more educated on what to look for. We've bought so much junk and learned why it didn't work, then we see the same things in "improved" products and pass on buying it.

I'm sure it still happens with new/beginning vapers a lot. I mean people join here everyday and ask questions to get on the right path. Now how many join other places or don't ask anyone at all? There's plenty of people that just buy things without researching and that applies to more than just vaping, lol.

I love the "Is this any good, I just bought it", I've been guilty of it myself in the past, lol. We all get excited from time to time, they've gotten better with the impulse flash sale stuff, lol.

Actually – companies are just catering to consumer demand. Everyone wants the latest and greatest but no one wants to pay for it. Manufacturing in China is just fulfilling that need. Take any product that is manufactured in China – move that facility to Canada or the US as an example, and without changing any of the manufacturing processes you have now doubled the cost. It’s the same product with the same faults and issues. Add a higher QC or even premium build materials and that cost will continue to rise.

Consumers dictate the cost, in order to produce a product at a price that the general public is willing to pay for, quality, either through manufacturing processes or build materials has to be sacrificed. You see this in every industry and not just vaping.

Agree, I want to know too whether the GT coils will work.

The early information looks promising on the Skrr but not going to pre-order. I want to see reviews first, never good to buy serial number 1 of anything.

If the reviews are positive, if there is coil compatibility and the redesigned airflow helps with flavor, etc... I will order.

I do like the 8ml capacity. I vape 15 to 20ml per day so 8ml is a positive.

I haven't tried the Mesh Pro or Falcon, but I have tried the Fireluke Mesh and Eleaf Ello Duro, and neither of them come anywhere near the NRG mesh coils. The Eleaf mesh coil gets dry after just a couple of tankfulls and the Fireluke mesh coil also burns out way more quickly. I have been considering the Fireluke Pro but I decided I am going to give the Vaporesso SKRR setup a chance first. Have 2 of them on preorder. Those coils are much different than the NRG coil (QF and SK series) but I will have the option of a ceramic coil, which is still my preferred coil for flavor (Freemax Starre Pure is still my #1 favorite for flavor and longevity). I love how this new tank has mesh and ceramic options, though. Vaporesso is saying that the mesh QF coil has "insanely rich flavor" but the QF strip coil has the longest life. We shall see some time later this month! :)

Looks promising

I agree the smaller glass tube on the Cascade seems less prone to breaking. I've also found that I struggle to use a vape band on the small (short) glass tube, I can either see the top to fill or the bottom to know its time to fill but not both. Not retiring it though, love 7ml capacity.

First flight with it this past week, leaked once out of 4 flights. I will continue to experiment with level to find the max level without leakage. I fly twice a week so tanks that can take pressurization changes without leaking are important.
Ok, second 2nd flight with the Cascade, this time I filled it so that approximately 2/3rd of the glass tank was full, maybe just a touch more than 2/3rd. Normal routine on take off, I inverted the tank, AFC closed, left it inverted in the seat back pocket until we hit 32,000’, zero leakage. This leads me to believe that the leak I had last week on first leg was due to me over filling the Cascade. Nice to be able to take a 7ml capacity tank on trips. Now I need to decide do I order another Cascade or wait for a look at the Skrr?

Buy the Cascade now and the other in a month or two. Backups are desirable if you enjoy the product. Black Friday sales aren't far off, you can buy the skrr and stock up on coils for both tanks then.

As long as you say it’s ok, if my wife asks about another new tank I’m telling on you

Since May, I’ve bought 5 NRGs, 2 Valyrians, 1 Cascade, 4 Revvos, 2 Revenger Xs, 1 Aegis Legend, who knows how many coils

Just watched the review of the Skrr by Jai Haze, he tore the tank up for not producing good flavor. He attributed it to bad airflow design. Airflow is at the top of the coil so no opportunity for it to pick up the flavor and carry it up and out.

For the ones who hated the childproof drip tip, you can change it out for your favorite drip tip eliminating the childproof lock.

As he was trashing the new coils for their contribution to bad airflow he said you could change them to baby beast which I take to mean you could use the NRG mesh coils since they are interchangeable with the Baby Beast coils.

Haven’t seen any other credible reviews yet. I’d like to see 3 or 4 more by guys I trust. I’d be a little worried and bummed if I had pre-ordered.

The Luxe mod looks like a winner.
Here is the link to his review, start at 5:05 in, the first 5 minutes is just mindless rambling.

My fireluke mesh coils last a very long time.

I'm still whacking away on the first dual coil that came with the tank. Still tastes fine. I might swap to the triple out of boredom, not coil death.

I did finally do a side by side of a dual mesh with a single coil Intake. The flavor on the Intake did edge out the mesh coil. But that's a single flavor build up against a drop in coil. Impressive it even held up. I have no issue continuing to use these coils. Can't wait to give in and try the triple, but I'd like to see how long this coil holds up for with a sweet commercial juice. Certainly the toughest test of any factory coil.

I found the flavor extremely muted with the Fireluke coils. The vapor was there but the flavors tasted really watered down. I had that tank on my Revenger X and on my Minikin but it never felt like the coils got "broken in," if that make sense.

Ahhh, so inverting the tank is the trick! I carry 3 mods routinely and my last flight was a hot mess, lol. The only tank that didn't leak was my Penguin. The Starre Pure and the Ello Duro both leaked like crazy. That didn't happen when I flew in February so I thought maybe it was because of the season, but I don't know. Next flight those suckers (or whichever suckers I have with me) will be traveling upside down! :)

Whoa, you just made me feel a whole lot better about my own summer, lol! Since around the same time I have bought a Revenger X, an accidental Revenger (wasn't paying attention), 2 NRG tanks, a Fireluke, another Starre Pure tank, and a Minikin. Plus the Luxe kit with the SKRR tank and another SKRR tank. Oh and an Avenger, but that went back due to the chip trying to kill me. Too bad, too. The Avenger was easily the prettiest mod I've ever owned!
