Hi, folks,
I have another newbie-ish question. It's "newbie-ish", because I actually started vaping about four years back, but gave up after a year of fiddling with carts and dying atomizers drove me to smoke more than I had before...
So now I'm trying to figure out all this new technology.
I love the idea of Fluxes, and some of them worked really well for me. In fact, I am even considering starting to clean them, lazy bumette that I am... But that's for another post.
Meanwhile, I've noticed that some Fluxes work really well, while others either burn everything relentlessly (even with fluffing and lifting or removing plugs), or don't produce much heat or vapor from get-go. I have one of the latter ones, a nice purple one, right now. I can coax a little vapor out of it, and the taste is good, but I couldn't figure out why it's so cool.
This new batch is 2.6-2.8 Ohms, so it should work good on my three-way eGo.
I am thinking that maybe the resistance on this one is higher than it's supposed to be. And maybe the ones that burned were too low (the burning ones were from a 2.4-2.6 batch).
So I think I'd like to invest in a meter, and start checking them ahead of time, to spare me some aggravation.
Can someone recommend a reasonable one and advise me how to use one on the Fluxes? Where to do you put the probes? (all sorts of dirty jokes come to mind here, but never mind)
Cheers,
Briar.
