Probably better........I had some trouble with the charcoal(didn't use matchlight),and high winds. Ribs were a touch bit undercooked. You really need a hot dry day to get a nice cook with the orion.

I never use matchlight anymore. When it's windy I just pull it inside the garage a few feet and keep the overhead door open to get it out of the wind. It stinks up the mud room a little but, "meh".

My wife would kill me if I tried to haul mine into the garage. I did have to use my patio umbrella a few weeks ago when it started to rain. Just bought 2x2packs of kingsford last week for $6.97 per..........Thats a great price for regular charcoal(even though they went from 20lb to 13.5lb bags)
Damn things aren't cheap but they sure do cook well. I don't think I would have bought one if I wouldn't have seen it on sale for $75! Let Mist or myself know if you need any pointers!
Hey cool thanks! Yea i found it for $149.99 but thats fine with me as I like to cook Turkeys , steaks and ribs and chicken .. lol I think that sums up most meats lol
Great pics!! Wish I could have been there. No funds. Hopefully Ill make the next one. Did Jay make it?? Wiz are you still using your GLV? I see you have a different sig.
