Might be time to start using boxes for shipping.

Last Friday I ordered 10 boxes of cartomizers and 3x30ml of juice. Today I got an envelope with a torn corner and nothing in it but the invoice. I've reported it to the USPS inspectors and emailed V4L support in the hope that their mail is insured when sent. In the meantime, I'm about out of juice, and am out $96 (yeah, used a discount code).

This is the second time I've had a torn envelope, but the first time the post office caught it and sealed the hole before the contents disappeared. Maybe it's time to start using those nifty flat-rate boxes? Whattaya say, V4L? Could I request a box if I wanted it?

I have never had a problem yet with shipping, so I can't say the flat rate might bring the cost of shipping but if a lot of people have the problem something heeds to be done at the post office. By the way the flat rate is not all that good about three months ago I order a book "QBQ" and received 1/2 a box with nothing in it. I know have my grandmother wrap for v4l after see is done there is so much tape a knife has a hard time.

Does your mail delivery person vape? The more I hear these torn envelope stories the more I start to wonder about USPS employees. I've never had a problem because there are only 3 people in my entire state that vape and the other 2 don't work at USPS.

If he were up to committing a felony, why would he even bother to deliver the empty envelope?

One of the big reasons that we don't use flat rate boxes is that they are small and take lots more time to assemble. It would seriously slow down our shipping operation. Make sure you contact customer service and we'll get it sorted out for you

Thanks, Mark, that's good to hear. I have already created a support ticket on it.

i think its just arizona that state left a bad taste in my mouth , rented a apartment with security gate , got my f-450 bucket truck stolen along with 18,000 dollars of tools , recovered truck no help from police , truck was riped to pieces, so i think the lesser of the fact that somebody is vaping on your dollar....willie

At my old address I had one issue years ago with mail. Something I ordered came in opened and the item missing (was a baseball card btw). The next day I called the post office pretty ...... off, and was given the brush off by them. My next day off I spent the day outside playing with my knives and swords in the back yard (perfectly legal to sword fight in your backyard in md). Made sure the mail guy saw it. No issue ever again..... Same reason pepco (power company) would call before checking the meter. If you saw someone in your yard you didn't know, wouldn't you come running out of the house with sword in hand?

Occasionally play with fire. No ninja though. I have a friend who is has been doing multiple forms of martial arts who has tried to teach me some of the basics. I focus more on european fighting techniques, mainly scandinavian and german. My favorite sword was custom made for me to resemble Gurthang (Turin's sword) from the Silmarillion.

I have had a few incidents with my shipments being damaged as well - mainly the envelope being torn. No item missing yet, though. My Christmas gift (not V4L) was very damaged AND open, actually going to the post office today to show them what happened since they just responded yesterday to my request for reimbursement since it was insured.

I've had mail stolen from me, mostly VA meds, no V4L orders tho. It took the Postmaster Inspector a year to catch the guy, but I've been noticing torn envelopes and always worry about it happening again. Box or not, if they want to steal it they'll steal it. In my case it was a postal worker. If they do it again, I'll go postal on them -lol

This is Arizona, where we all carry guns (and I'm no exception). ;)
