I didn't read the whole thread, but I'd like to point out something.

An e-pipe with an atomizer from any ecig would be useless. An e-pipe can't be just an ecig in a nicer body and with bigger batts. I want it to stand on my desk, next to my laptop docking station. I want to vape all day without taking any care of it. If it's meant to be stationary, then it has to be a vaping station! That's what every geek wants!

If I were to buy an e-pipe, I'd want:
- a totally different atomizer design - one that lasts for ages, doesn't clog, get flooded or dry out
- a new liquid delivery system - no carts, no burnt plastic taste
- not having to top it up for a week (10ml tanks)
- removable tanks, so I can switch flavors (maybe even easily washable atty, so I don't mix tastes)
- circuit intended to be plugged in all the time without destroying the battery with constant recharging after each puff

And since it's an e-pipe, you don't have to miniaturize anything to fit in an ecig. I want it big and sturdy. For example, the liquid delivery system can be controlled electronically, dripping just as much as needed. The atty doesn't have to be a thin wire coil that fails after a couple of months and cant be scrubbed (or even touched). It can even be AC powered with strong gel accu sold separately!

Now that would be the e-pipe for me! :D

PS: Ludo, if I've hit the jackpot, just PM me when I'll be getting a prototype. :D
I'll sign anything you want in my own blood, just give me one if I'm right about it! :D

In his "little" spare time, Mik made a sort of "plastic pipe head" add on to the eGo end's battery which turns the eGo into a pipe shape. No functionality, purely design that is. Not sure if we want to commercialize it though hehe.

It's a nice idea Ludo, but a proper new epipe design would be preferable in my point of view..
with a high capacity (mah) battery and the manual button on top of the bowl.
You could just use ego tank atomizers (both cone and cylinder shaped if they come out) connected to a nice battery pipe body.
the tank atomizer works great and in addition to an LR tweaked version will accomodate everyone preferences.

I'm pretty satisfied with my current equipment. I don't intend on buying any of the newer stuff that has come out recently (Leo, Joye Tanks, etc). I probably won't buy anything new for a long while. But there is a hole in my gear collection, and that is reserved for the new pipe. I've been patiently waiting for it. I keep thinking that it could be coming out any day now since it is 2011. Honestly, at this point I don't care if its auto or manual, wood or plastic, or a pink purple polkadotted '86 VW bug with an atty sticking out of the exhaust pipe........I just want to either see it or get a rough time frame for it's release date (aside from something like "sometime between 2011 and 2030").

What about a Kirsten pipe design? A fellow forumer from my home forum, CartHeadMod, tossed this up at one point and I was really intrigued. I'd totally vape the Esquire with the full bend. Fashion a fluted bowl and I'd be vaping in style!

I'm surprised no one has made a e-pipe that looks like a Kirsten....
