Now that I have used the two Tibs for a few weeks. The Tibs lipo with the same RBA and coil gives me twice as long vaping time. The Lg batteries give me 1 day of heavy vaping, from 8 am to midnight and the 6000mAh lipo pack gives me two full days. Quite a difference for only 800 mAh more.:) I vape about three tanks in the Taifun GT per day, have never measured how much and I do not let the tank go dry, just down to the wick. 1.1 ohm dual coils around 18 to 22 watts. Lower in the morning and higher in the evenings.:)

The SS should be good for 19 holes of golf....:D about 6 hours.

That's awesome. What lipos did you use to get to 6000 mAh?

The case is the same size in the listing ... so "if" true, the 6.4 battery inside would have to be the same size or smaller. Do you use the bullet connecters? Anyway, if I were looking at getting more of these today, I'd get the 6.4's vs. waiting for "old" tech to get back in stock :) And if somebody gets the 6.4Ah packs and it doesn't fit ... I'd gladly swap them with some of my 6.0's :D

EDIT: I was wrong ... looks like the case is .3mm thicker ... OOPS! Oh well I'd still trade! :)

They tend to use the same case on several mAh The 5000 has the same case as the 6000.

Well, I kinda sorta "finished my first mod. Hammond box and I thought that I'd be cute and use Johnnymac's DNA mounting system with the screen bezel and board holder. Got it all together and it looks like everything went together well....except...I can't get the back of the enclosure on. It seems that I put the board to low in the box and the battery holder hits it. The back fits on fine if there are no batteries, but with batteries installed they stick out of the back by ~2 mm. And this was looking pretty good...oh, well. Back to the drawing board.

edit: I was thinking that I might be able to trim down the back of the battery holder but I'm not sure if the battery would contact the board. Then again maybe it would be better to just go back to Bap's bezel and see how that works.

I think that I recovered this without too much trouble. I ended up removing the holder for the DNA board and kept Johnny's screen bezel (it covers some flaws very nicely). That got the board low enough so that the battery holder & batteries sit low enough that the back cover should go on fine. I'll put up some pictures once the glue dries and I get a little bit settled (on the road tomorrow morning).

Detail work on the lettering to come at a later date. :)

Light pipe was drilled through to the front with a 1/16th drill bit, started it by hand directly over the lights and finished with the drill. It was then glued directly to the body and not to the charging lights as they put out enough light that the pipe picks it and transmits it no problem. :)
