I think vents would be unnecessary with all the holes already present (buttons, usb, screen).

Is it wrong that I have a window opened to Hanamodz.com's v200 page and I'm hitting F5 every 5 mins or so? I know they said 10a CST but still...

Most excellent. Do you plan to put an STL up? Sculpteo is dirt cheap right now if you chose economy printing and they light on work (I think) so it still prints and ships in a few days. I would grab one to test. I see you found a good use for your cigar trays...I had a bunch of them (from Mike) that was in my coolerdoor.

Yup, that's the plan as I receive and test designs. I'm swinging by the hobby store today to pick up some 14ga and 16ga silicone wire and assuming final assembly goes well over the weekend I'll put up a finalized version shortly. This example was printed at Sculpteo and comparing it to a DNA25 mod I printed at Shapeway's in blue strong and flexible polished, Sculpteo's polished plastics are far superior to Shapeways. I am also testing i'materialise for my beta inspired enclosure, which is far cheaper than the others. I have rounded off buttons coming on Monday for all designs that I made after I ordered this...I think I'll make those standard and have the flat top buttons optional. And as for the humidors...they are now my handy e-juice storage boxes. :) The trays are excellent for a variety of things as well.

Dry and windy
I not only didn't listen to this guy :evil:on my shoulder, egging me on to buy the dna200 board, in my blind haste to get the dna40's I failed to order the usb charger boards! Hopefully they will be offered up in any up coming Co-op. :nun:

Still vaping on my BRD200 (still trying to come up with a name for it :D ) and it's at 26% (about 9ml of juice). The 1300mah battery is giving me great runtime.

Back to looking at rc heli's

Me too! Loving the simplicity...took 45 minutes to put together...pics as soon as I am done playing.

Ok...a 30 minute build with the printed case:

Wire:

Put buttons in and back screen with tape.

No images for this part, but position screen squarely in the cutout and layout tape. Push atomizer leg out and solder and attach atomizer, push in and screw down.

Boom and done.

There are stains on this one from flux etc....but I got white as a test print and will end up painting it at some point.

Tips:

-test fit the chip with the USB power for fit...button fit is critical - they may require sanding as you want firm contact, but not actually pressing them. The USB hole is tight currently, but it is about just right...I had to put mine in from the front, producing very small shavings, then from the back with the same effect. Once you hare happy with the "dry fit"...bring on the lipo!
-with it all wired (or just with leads if you are using jacks ((that would be easier than how I did it))) you will want to position the screen while holding the board up and well forward...get it in the slot then lay the tape down, you can see the tool I used for this in one of the images, but any thing similar would work such as an allen wrench.
-if you direct wire like I did, tape the leads you are not working with AND tape the atomizer leads during assembly.

Waiting on sculpteo.........

Does anyone know if they send out tracking info when the item ships?
Yes, they send tracking. I got mine in about a week from ordering. I paid the cheapest shipping but it came overnight from France.

I soldered the 4 wires (2 for 510, 2 for battery leads) first, installed the board and 510. Then I soldered the battery to the leads and stuffed everything in. The reason for the battery leads is because I'm going to install XT30 connectors when my order comes. I was just impatient and wanted to build mine NOW.

I'm really digging the DNA200. It's like a DNA40 on steroids at the same wattage levels. Customization makes it the perfect mod. I'm thinking I'll be replacing most of my DNA40's for DNA200's.

Interestingly, I went back to Hana's site and the dimensions are changed to 3.62" x .94" x 1.57", smaller than before. Thank god. I was kinda worried about it being 4.25" tall but eyeballing it compared to the BRD200, it didn't look right to be that tall. Then again, they always have crappy pics so I'm guessing it'll look much better when I get it.

Yea...that sums it up. I had to use 20g for the atomizer as that was all I had, but am limiting pre-heat and wattage to compensate. The profiles are the bomb...soft Nickel, hard hitting nickel, Smooth Ti, banging Ti....I am spoiled now. Anyone hawking the other chip must not have spent a day with this one...and the size! Such a small board (that you can actually solder to and not void the warranty...but I want get into that).
