It's funny, when I use the miter saw, do "construction" or work on the car I clean everything up, tools and work area. For some reason the workbench doesn't get the same treatment.
Received my BRD Squonker from Sculpteo . . . . sans the buttons . . . *sigh*
I had ordered the BRD Squonk,,, twice and both times Sculpteo canceled the order. They said the size of something was not right. I PM'ed to @BlueridgeDog,, who promptly made changes on the design. But I had already ordered the one from Shapeways, and I was not gonna order from them again until the refunds made it back into my account. Funny thing about Sculpteo was that each time I ordered the item the price went up! Checked the price since BRD made the changes and it went up again. Really would like to hear about how the Sculpteo one turns out. I will post my findings on the Shapeways one, as it is supposed to ship tomorrow. With as slow as the parts co-op thing is moving who knows when mine will all come together!
Shapeways BRD squonk shipped was $72.09.
Do I need to put then in a separate file? I can print some in ABS and mail them to you so you can test it out. It has never been built or seen by me!
Let me see how quickly Sculpteo responds, but I do appreciate the offer.
Probably would be best to show them more prominently in the render, I can see how they might be overlooked by someone who's never used the term "squonk."
It is a beast. I printed in Alumide because I kind of like the gray and have pretty good luck with just a clear coat. It is very sturdy, you could get away with thinner walls. It is quite wide, also, so I'm wondering how comfortable the single handed squonking will be. It'll probably grow on me as I use it.
That battery from Trossen electronics slid into the slot nicely, though I may have to snip off the balance connector to get it to snap together.
@BlueridgeDog Squonker mod from shapeways,,
Glad to see one...I don't have one and I only think there are three prints out there. Curious to now how the bottle side works as for getting it on and off to change it out.
Yea...it is big, but with the chip, battery and bottle side by side...
I am goofing off with one that drops the atomizer down, but I have held off until I see if the opening and accessing will work.
Yep, bottle side is easy,, board side is ato get off.
Not impossible, but it is a challenge.
Question about balance charger wiring. Thanks to @Steamer861 I got a BRD box and genace 1300mah battery.
On the balance port it's 1 red with 3 black. I metered it and it's actually 1 positive and 3 ground. The other battery in the picture is just the opposite, 1 black ground and 3 red positive. Metered it out and it's correct. So these 2 batteries have opposite wired balance ports.
If I'm understanding the dna200 board, it wants 1 ground and 3 positives.... The genace (which was supposed to go in this box) is wired exactly opposite.
What do I do?

The wiring is right, just the color of the wires is wrong. The plug only fits one way and they're wired correctly. If there's only one red wire, the one farthest away is the ground. If there's only one black wire, it's the ground.Question about balance charger wiring. Thanks to @Steamer861 I got a BRD box and genace 1300mah battery.

Well, Sculpteo closed the ticket to email, and hasn't responded to me. I've sent them the blue print showing the buttons, a render showing the buttons, etc., but they've gone silent for a week. Opened another ticket, we'll see . . .
Thanks. The bottle side is made to come off easy, but not util you want it to. The chip side should be REALLY hard to get off.
And most mods seem small to me, I don't clap at events for fear of leaving the ground.
I never envisioned someone popping it on and off...sort of a one time thing. Yea...I would have tested it too, but once wired and working it is in to stay (there should be no juice in that side requiring maintenance).
I have been working on going without hardware for the enclosure...TruckerMSA and I have been kicking this one back and forth for months and I am now at the fifth printing:
