Yea I'll try dimming the screen. Any way to get a custom screen to stay on the screen so I can get a good picture of it? I have it set to welcome secondary which obviously doesnt stay on the screen very long

I had the same situation when I wanted to get a pic of a custom welcome screen but it only shows for a second after the mod has set for about an hour and goes to sleep or unless you do a reboot in EScribe. So I set the screen as the Locked screen, then five clicked to lock the mod so I could bring it up and get my photo of it.

Sitting down, facing forward.
I'm finally one step away from completing my low tank DNA40. The only thing left, of any consequence, is cutting the aluminum button blanks down to fit. Everything else is done, finished milling the bottom cap this afternoon and set up the battery door with a captive screw to close it with. Photos tomorrow, I hope.

Look forward to seeing it, it will be worth it when it's done! :)

and completely off-topic  but i'm getting desparate!

does anybody know a shop working with acrylic even long-distance? our one and only local guy thinks he's working with gold

What type of acrylic (sheet, rod, tube etc) and what type of shop? Machining, fabrication, painting etc? What are you trying to get done.

A shop local to me. Have used them on a couple of small projects and no complaints. Can't say if their pricing is competitive -- seemed reasonable at the time. A guy I know who does a lot of larger projects uses them so they must be the go to guys at least locally.

I suggest you dog-sit a week for me and your issue will be solved. No charge.

As an aside, you left your nut cracker out all year.

expensive proposition! by the time i arrange a sitter for my zoo to dog-sit for you i'll be broke! :D

as to the one nutcracker - he ended up on the window sill since there was no room for him over here! :D

He will deal with the rest of your zoo too...and the rugs and any furniture you might need disposed of.

That many nutcrackers boarders on misandristic.

We have Taps Plastic here is Sacramento. If you send me the dimensions, I can have it cut for you, ship it, and we can square up after :)

thanks, vince! i'll keep it in mind if nothing more local develops ;)
the thing consists of 5 parts and i could make templates without a problem. using the right acrylic cement i should be able to put it together myself ;)
