I'm using a different charging board. Someone plz double check my logic? In step iv, I'll wire red to in+ and black to in-... Since i'm wiring the batter directly to the dna board, bat+/- won't be used on this charging board... Correct?

I think you have it backwards, I would assume the in is the same as the usb input. But I haven't used that board.

There is some kind of poly coating over the entire board so I've had difficulty in getting a secure connection into and through the hole if I forget the flux. Just apply a dab of flux over the hole using the tip of a round toothpick just before soldering the wire in. No need to wash it off.

Dang....mamu.....you are a busy gal.....how do you keep up with building all your mods and still have time to tutor....he-he....good to see ya here too as I don't post on the other forum......but I still read things there.....

Chornbro....great to see you out and about....it's been a while since we crossed paths.....good to see you into modding.....and the dna20d.....

Good to see u too! Hope all is well my friend. Appreciate the help, had a brain fart...

Got everything assembled and found one of the epoxied tac buttons was DOA... Really sucks! Im also getting an intermitten issue... Board acts like the "up" button is being held down. The push button isnt being pressed, nothing is grounded out, all bare wires are free and clear. Issue was intermittent, went away, now its back for good. Any ideas? Dont say bad board... Please...

My best guess on your "up button issue" is the button could be sticking...I had one do that a while back....are you using the small tactile buttons? I also had the epoxy seep into one button to where it wouldn't fire (just in case you run onto a button that won't push at all..) ya might try just pushing the button rapidly for a few seconds to see if it will free itself, but usually this does no good... or you could de-solder the up button and just touch the wires together to see if it increases the wattage reading up as it should....with the wires not connected to the up button you could also see if the up readings move on their own which may help you narrow down the issue should it continue..since all you connections are good and clear and if the button is good and not sticking, you might just e-mail Brandon as he is great to help with issues....later my friend... hope this helps....
