Hey Guys,
I was curious to see how small I could make a working adapter to go from a 901 battery to a 510 atty. This is what a came up with, its pretty rough, finish size is 15/32" or 11.56mm, less then a half inch total, half the size of a 901 charging adapter. I used the same threading tools and brass rods that are sticky'ed on this forum. The center insulator is a threaded piece of delrin that threads into the adapter, has a hole drilled through and a T shaped piece of brass is pressed into it for the center conductor. This was threaded into the connector and loc-tighted into position. The contour machined onto the surface was just for looks and not functional. I am waiting on some tooling to cut final draw notches on the 510 atty end.
Cheers
