A while back a mixture of juice and pocket fuzz make the button stick on my mini. I disassembled/removed the button but I wondered if I did this correctly..

I rotated the positive battery contact out to allow the button to drop out.. Then visa versa back in. Was that correct or did I get lucky it's still working.. I had to remove it again after I melted it and did the same thing again..

Thanks!

No need to remove things! Just give your REO a good bath. Run hot water down through the button area while turning and pushing your button. You can also soak it is a bath with some mild dish detergent, or ISO. I put mine in the ultrasonic with water and vinegar.

That screw that holds the delrin insert can easily be stripped. Better to leave that alone if you can. You run more of a risk of getting a short or melted button by messing with the firing mechanism. You can line it up wrong and have some part touching metal.

Unless you need to replace the button just do a good cleaning, let it dry and vape away!
