Aluminum case 3.15" x 1.77" x .74" (80mm x 44mm x 19mm). The 19mm depth with 2mm case thickness was a challenge as it didn't allow fitting the dna board along the side like I did with Max, so I put it as well as the up/down watts buttons on the front.

miniMax has 2, 1000mAh 15A round nano-tech lipos for a total of 2000mAh, 30A.

I used the transparent material for the display frame/cradle.

I got a similar box that I may use. But it is 85x58x25mm. Just a little bigger.

How big a pain is it to work inside these boxes?

Edit - And I have to say, seeing all of your awesome mods inspired me to try and make my own. I have everything I need right now except the chips which I hope will be back in stock soon. If I can make mine half as nice as yours, I will be one happy vaper.

Thanks guys! :)

...How big a pain is it to work inside these boxes?...

It takes some finagling working only from the top or bottom, but it's doable.

...what kind of USB charger did you fit in this beauty? 2Ah would take a while to charge, with the usual 500mAh chargers.

Evolv micro usb charging board.

...If I may ask, roughly how much was all the parts?...

You're looking at $70 - $80 just in parts plus whatever shipping is for those parts.

Without shipping costs:
DNA20D = $50
Case = $6
3 tact switches = $3
Evolv usb charging board = $7.50
Connector/juice well = $2
Frame/cradle = $3.60

Then you have supplies like solder, wiring, epoxy, heat shrink tubing, etc.

So how does one go about getting one of those from you?

You're in the wrong forum. If you want to know who sells mods at ECF and what's available, look in the Suppliers forum.

Thanks lenk!

How did I manage to work inside the box? uhhh... with my fingers, but with this case and its depth my fingers barely, just barely fit, so I pretty much had to use my pinky finger to position parts. :laugh:

No pics of the internals. But you can pretty much tell what the internal looks like with the way the parts are positioned externally.
