My apologys to you my friend...You have to take into consideration that this was a first attempt at this sort of thing here on the forum....my one regret was that we didn't have a month or so to prepare better...prizes all in order...suppliers with names an addresses that sort of thing! Time was the enemy here Not Rick or Myself....we tried our best to make do with what we had...and that is all we can do for now!.....I will not be hosting the 2010 Pageant next year...If anyone is interested you can send me your names and we will pass on the pageant to you...or better yet..we can have another "poll" for everyone to decide "Who would make the best Miss ECF Host"...I will make sure to vote in that one myself!.......I will post once more to To thank the Sponsors who gave so much to those who Appreciated it and those who Appreciated so little.....sometime this weekend!...The Wiz!

I am goin out so I will make this brief.... when I saw the PM from MrsCash I was so excited I almost cried 
I thought that was the nicest thing! I support Puresmoker (even while their stock is being held at customs lol!) but then I came here to read all this stuff. I was disturbed.
First let me say that when I first saw the new prize list I said to my partner... it looks like shimmy is getting robbed out of a good prize and I didn't understand why she only had ONE prize listed for 2 categories. Then I went to Lacey's site (Instead) and saw the value of the prize was $150 and I figured that was how Wiz made the decisions.. by value. I also looked at the new prize list and saw that people who participated more and got more "involved" seemed to get better prizes... so that seemed fair to me.
Of course I have no problem with going back to the original prize list... I had started researching the manual penstyle and was getting excited about it last night.
Or.. I would have no problem passing the ladypipe down to Shimmy as Mrs.Cash has passed her prize down to me (I am still trying to pick an outfit to wear for the video review lol!).
I know that the guys know we were battling for the ladypipe and maybe the prizes were switched to teach us a lesson? I don't know... but I am fine with whatever... I said to Wiz in an email today... anything we get is more than what we had before.. and orinally.. there were no prizes (or maybe only one?)... so we are all very lucky and very special to have been involved with something so fun and get something neat out of it.
Wiz.... if you want to switch the prizes back to the original way... I am cool with that.
Either way... I think it only fair that Shimmy gets the ladypipe as I will get Mrs.Cash's prize so it all works out.
Mrs. Cash.. I will be sending the "special gift" for Wiz (no it's not leather... he just asked if I could get it!).. but we wana see a pic of it when you get it (preferrably.. on you!).

y'know... im trying to figure out how a prize list changes after the fact... i understand that during the contest there were items being added and thusly changes would occur...
sadly tho wiz.. once you put that poll at the top it was time to change your tactic of changing the rules of a contest to suit your personal needs.. everybody pointing out that all persons involved should be happy they got nything is correct.. all should..butit doesn't change the fact that somehow an ordered contest runed into a rig
anybody who didnt see this possibilty coming might want to read towards the beginning of the whole poll where "in the act of fairness" we chose that the poll be public..
my real question is more for the suppliers donating... do YOU think it's fair that your donation has been dragged into this kind of mess?.. do YOU think it's fair that your product was offered as a gift/prize to a member chosen ranking and once the rankings came out..it was part of a bait and switch? anyone who does.. i have a car i'd like to sell you..fully working.. you can all bid on it... and just as a side note.. i have another car sitting in the backyard all rusted out..been there for about 10 years... just mentioning... guess after you bid i'll decide which one ya get
and jaaxx... i dunno what the boxes are yer posting (my browser isnt set for whatever font/characters),, but the way these girls should feel can be summed up in a bit of copyright thiefing...

Pretty rude here dude. Wiz started the contest for fun, even started a thread, then suppliers started coming in, thus we had another week to enter the "Real deal" before voting began. Wiz & Rick each did an exceptional job. It would be tough to decide who got what, so they had to find catagories for each prize & they did, very well.
I for one, entered for fun, I knew I could not compete against some beautiful, intelligent & wonderful 20 & 30 year olds. Also I don't personally know one other person on this forum, but I have met a few online friends I think & had a great time doing it as I believe the other ladies had also.
Rick I will be thinking of you & your family, what ever is wrong, take the time you need to work it out for your best interest.
Shimmy, sorry about your friend & will remember her also in prayers.

I agree with Spikey...We went into this with no prize offered. We did it for fun. It is what it is, IMO.

Hmmmm....I guess I am a little confused as to why anyone is upset about this. I love my prizes - altho the other one would have been great too. Every item is a gift for having the opportuity to have a little fun - why all the drama?
I'm going to have to take a little break for my family matter again and will be away until next Thursday.
Put your big girl (or boy)panties on and get happy with what you got! Or trade around till you do. Don't like how it turned out - you volunteer to run the next one
Why ruin a wonderful opportinity to play with all this negative energy in the end ?
Once again I wil LOVE my gift - no matter what is is by the time I get back - and thanks SUPPLIERS for being so generous.

My humble 2 cents worth...
This started out as fun.
It ended as fun.
I was truly, truly impressed.
More so than any other forum, chat room, blog or the like.
I stand by my posts stating how everybody helped one another, laughed, and made it enjoyable for all.
I am still especially grateful to you all for letting me see a little bit into each of your lives and personalities
Now, I come back today and there is dissent, bickering, complaints and accusations.
What happened?
What's worse is that a good portion of the complaining isn't from the contestants.
I'm sorry for all of you that had a wonderful few days here.
I'm even more sorry that Wiz and Rick are taking flack for this.
I almost wish there hadn't been ANY prizes. It seems that they are the reason for all the anguish and hurt feelings.
Wouldn't the title have been enough? It sure started out that way.
I still thank you for all the laughter and many hours of relieved boredom.
How quickly some forget.

I started the topic in the intrest of fairness for all the ladies who participated. My intention was Not to start anything. I am grateful for what prizes I'll recieve as we all thought going in, that is was just for fun. The sponosr gifts were just the icing so to speak. I thank the hosts and the sponsors!
It WAS fun and the ladies with whom I have become friends with has been invaluable!
