I bought my first WetBox from COV about 5 months ago and was impressed by not having to battle with cartridges and dripping what a mess that was I thought at last a solution fill up a 3ml bottle and use a cartomizer how easy can you get. Well 5 months later and six WetBoxes later yes I know should have given up after the first one packed up within the first month but I thought maybe just a bad unit I got but after no six packed up after just 2 weeks of use I started doing research on the way it was manufactured. I came to the conclusion that it's just a money racket I will break down the cost of the spares used to make the WetBox. Battery Box I picked up 20 on E-bay for $4 with free shipping, she did not even go to the trouble to use a thicker gauge wire but used the original wiring that comes with the box. Atomizer connector $1.99, 3ml bottle 59cents, Needle & tube +- 99cents most prices based on madvapes prices so lets forget about my E-Bay battery boxes and take madvapes price for a battery box at $1.99 + 1 cartomizer at +- $1.59. Total Prices of spares to make a WetBox $7.59 and they get sold for between $50 up to $60 quite a nice profit I would say even more so when they only last a couple of weeks oh I forgot the ....ty switch she used on it which gives the most problems at madvapes for 69cents which brings the total to $7.84 still a very nice profit for a piece of rubbish. Oh yes I still have one lying somewhere number 7 I ordered that I did not even bother to open. So in my hard learned experience and stupidity I will rate this thing a -10 they should actually pay you to take the thing off their hands. So please people don't be as stupid as I was and waste your money an this inferior piece of rubbish. Oh I can write a lot more about this but lets just leave it there for now I'm finished with Missy's WetBox no matter how inviting it sounds.:facepalm::(

If you are still interested in a bottom feed, check out the REO, REO Mini, Phidias, Journeyman, and Ali'i. They all cost more than the WetBox, but they all are handcrafted, well designed, and they work flawlessly. They are also very much in demand and a little hard to come by. Your review of the WetBox was right on, and I only hope that others don't waste their money on it.

Thanks banjo very much appreciated one favor can you tell me where to get the different bottom feeders you listed above I will really appreciate that. Links or website names will be appreciated.

Thank you for the warning, Pocket-Rocket & Banjo
I was thinking of getting the one in the classified
so glad that I checked the reviews first
You've saved me $$ and heartbreak
I'll make my own, then it's my fault it goes bad !

It's a pleasure foggy1 if I did not stink at soldering and wiring up stuff I would try it as well because I'm sitting here with a whole bunch of battery boxes that is of no use to me both 2xAAA boxes and 3xAAA boxes.:)

and the phidias is available at nhaler
the ali'i and the journeyman are at Welcome to R&R Manufacturing - Handcrafted Battery Box Mods ordering here seems to open up on Friday 5pm pacific time ...so not sure what that would be your time (they only open ordering long enough to get a manageable working batch that way the wait time isn't too bad)

Thanks Drozd you guys are so helpful I don't know why I did not start posting on here earlier then maybe I would have avoided a lot of mistakes I made already when it comes to vaping.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking of buying one of these but decided on ken's mod box. Glad I made a different choice. I don't have alot of money to be wasting on junk. Now if my mod box would get here (it's in transit), I would be a happier camper.:p

It's a pleasure hairball and quite a coincidence earlier tonight I ordered both the 3.7 and 5v ken's mod boxes yea I know can't just order one have to have both that addiction again:blush::)

I'm glad I saw this thread was thinking about getting one down the road, but I thought the switch looked cheap. Thanks for the heads up.

This problem has been well known for the longest time ever since the original wetboxes came out and to this day they have not fix the issue which goes to show you the care they put in the product. A $.79 mosfet is all that needs to be added to make sure the switch doesn't die and they wont do it, why because they are already making money off people so what do they care if people send them back for $15 to be fixed when it costs them $3-4 (buk pricing) tops to make a whole new box. Very poor business practice.. and they have a patent on it I even laugh more ....

Sitting on my desk right now is a dead wetbox that I was sent to fix which Im going to be putting in a simple mosfet but due to all the glue they slop in there its been a PITA even thus far.
