Nice song and the images are thought provoking. It seems most, if not all, of these images were taken in Europe. The song talks about love, peace, and freedom. I visited Berlin and several Soviet bloc countries a couple years before the Wall came down. The people were wonderful but I remember most the feeling of just crossing the checkpoint from West Berlin to East and the tension that lifted a few weeks later when I crossed back.

I was going to post this song yesterday, but along the way I learned that the sax player (Mike Burney) had just passed away on Nov. 13th... so I decide to post a couple of things today in his Honor... R.I.P.

This song was originally recorded in 1973, but has become a popular song in the UK.... with many other re-issues and plenty of videos taped of them playing!!!

Here they are on TOTP in 1984: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64n7iS-P1GY

This song isn't Holiday related, but shows another, more serious side of the band... and you might be interested to know that Roy Wood was also one of the founding members of ELO (along with Jeff Lynne) but left the group after their 1st LP and then formed Wizzard... (his band other band during that time was The Move, who also did the original version of "Do Ya" (written by Jeff Lynne), which later became a hit for ELO)

It wasn't on the original release of 'Introducing Eddy and the Falcons', but is still one of my faves... :D

IDK who is right, but the Wikipedia shows him as only being 70 yrs. old... not 76 as stated in this article!!! :(

Wizzard star Mike Burney, who also played with The Beach Boys, Sammy Davis Junior and Bob Hope has died - Birmingham Mail

Sorry if I got a little 'off topic' here... :?:
