dw, I finally did the modification to to the battery post grinding out the first couple of threads allowing the battery to collapse. I cant really say for sure that I see a difference, other than the mod never misfired with a kick for the first time. So that alone tells me it is getting a better connection.

The question I wonder though, is did we remove a safety feature of a collapsable hot spring? I dont really see it as a hot spring by the looks of the material, but I could be wrong.

im not too worried about it, i only use imr batteries. i also know if i feel any heat, like a lot of heat, to drop my mod. so as not to blow my face off.

Im not worried about an explosion, but have you ever had one vent inside your house??

I only use AW IMR batteries, and had one vent while sitting at the kitchen table. The chemicals it released in to the house were unbearable! We couldnt go in the kitchen for a couple of hours while waiting for it to clear out....and that was windows open running two Oreck air purifiers. Something I never want to experience again....

I'm just running mine without the spring. To me, the spring doesn't look like a collapsible hot spring anyway.

I got my spring. It didn't fit at first, it was sliding in and out loosely, so I gave it a little twist to widen it some toward one end and it twisted in and stayed with about 1/2 inch left above the post. The one benefit I've found is that it gives a small amount of tension that keeps everything snug. This is enough for it to be worth it to me.

I've been searching through the thread, and I can't find what I'm looking for. I was sure someone posted about flooding in a Naut/Term in the last day or two. My Nautilus is flooding on me. It did it once and I took it apart down to the coil, coil was good, after removing what I could of the remaining juice, I put the mouth peice on with out the top and had a couple of vapes, it seemed to be doing fine. So I refilled it, nearly full, not completely, put the top back on, then the oring and collar on the top.I left the juice feed closed, gave it a try, and it gurgled alot, barely gave any vapor, and just got worse from there, leaking out of the 510 connection. Very strange. Anyone else ever see this happen?

With the mouthpiece closed you either have to sling or blow out the excess juice before you proceed.
You can be sure if there is nothing obvious like the positive post being loose in the ceramic housing that your problem is air leaking in at the top of the tank (9x2 mm o-ring area)
I have seen one instance where the o-ring under the tank top, on the tank, was letting air in and that was an Ithaka.
Be looking at the mouthpiece o-ring for your problem, it's there every time.

Thank you. I thought it may have happened to someone here before

HPI Racing 104726 Silicone O-Ring 5x9x2mm (10) from e-b*y. be here by July 13, cost 4.99. Lets see how this seals the upper. Tuesday night vape mail creation.

I have these same leaking issues with my term-c, I also ordered them same exact o-rings from the same exact seller, they wont fit.... the seller botched the size format up.... we need 9x2mm 9mm being ID, they listed IDxODxwidth for some reason , and your getting a 5mm ID not 9.... I made the same mistake.
I thought I was getting 5 o-rings... 9x2

Got a refund just in the nick of time. Lesson learned.
