i have 100ml of vg 18mg tobacco that i am planning to mix pg into at a ratio of 50\50 ..to bring it down to approx 9mg since it is too strong for me now ..
i have been playing around with the juice adding flavors to it ,,and i like some of the concoction i have made

question is...how much [ml] flavoring would i add to 200ml of 50\50 mix ??
any guess-stimates are appreciated in advance

oh,,the juice is long since steeped :vapor:

Hi there!

We really CAN'T answer your question, because we don't know how strong your flavoring is. Sometimes 2% is a good mix, sometimes 20%. It's usually 5-10%, but it's guesswork.

Take a small sample and put in the same ratio you want to try, then vape it. That's the only way to be sure.

+1

I agree make a few small batches first and when you find what you like you can mix the whole thing up accordingly. 200ml of one flavor is a lot I do about 3-5 different flavors a day.

You need to determine how many "drops" is in your 2ml base then figure the % that 3 drops is. This will give you the % to add to your base. Drops will vary a lot. If you know you need 3 drops for 2ml, why not make a batch with 30ml base & 45 drops.

I would not recommend you flavor the whole 200ml at once, try a smaller batch.

i already know that i like the flavor,,

maybe somebody can figure the math for this formula,,because i cant :(

3 drops flavor for 2ml base ,,how much would i need for 200ml ??

That would be 300 drops if you mix up all 200ml. If you can determine how many drops of your flavoring are in 1ml, it would make it a lot easier than counting to 300.

hmmm 300 drops is the correct formula,,but having all 300 drops excatly the same ?? i don't think so

some say mix up 5 or 10ml batches first ,,,why ???????? i already know the final amount i want to mix

hoping somebody that mixes 50ml,100ml batches will come along and give me a ml measurement,,,a ballpark ml is a good start

What if you mix up 200 ml of the stinkiest awfulest nastiest flavor you've never even imagined? If you make a small batch and like it, then you can extrapolate the numbers into a large batch at the same percentages and have a bundle of tasty liquid.

It's already been said a few times here but I'll give it a shot. You NEED to determine how many drops from your flavoring bottle equal a mL...the same flavoring bottle you used to make your initial juice. Once you decide how many drops are in a mL then you can determine how many mLs are in 300 drops. That's the most accurate way to do it but the problem is you're going from a small quantity to a large quantity and it won't be the same. It's like using a recipe for a batch of homemade fudge and using that recipe to make 30 batches (x30). It doesn't work, you can't use the same recipe and just multiply it. Even going from making a 5mL mix to a 30mL mix there will need to be some adjustments to get it to taste exactly the same as the 5mL.

I doubt anyone in this forum does what you are wanting to do because it's not a good idea and can ruin a lot of ingredients. Plus, like has already been said, taste buds change and what tastes good today may not down the line. But it's your money and you can do whatever you want, we're just trying to help you not waste it. Also keep in mind that once you mix it all together it will only be good for a year or so, maybe less. Separately the ingredients have different shelf lives and the nicotine (most expensive component) will last several years where the flavoring may last less than a year.

OK, here is the best info you get based on the info you have provided:

If your flavoring is 10 drops per ml then you will need 30ml total

btw: I have mixed batches up to 16oz. (475ml)
