I took apart my stingray to clean it today upon delivery. I can't seem to get it back together the magnets oppose each other but idk how it stays put! Can anybody help me piece together the parts?

Where's your rice pin at?

And it almost looks like the magnet that supposed to be glued into the lower contact has come loose and is stuck on the top of the upper contact.

The rice pin flew out, my dumb ... forgot about it. And apparrntly that magnet was unglued. How does it go back together? Do I need the rice pin?

Hey!!! You have to hold it steady while your screw it in!!! Just be steady!!!! DO you understand!!!!!

Just kidding try screwing the upper magnet into the delrin housing than screwing it in. If you put the delrin in first it is hard to get the magnet alone in there but it can be done. Good luck.

Get a dna-30 you will like it. Vapor Shark has plenty in stock, as for the Stingray just return it and get another one, the parts should not snap. You will thank me when you are 95 years old.

Ha. Thanks everybody. When I opened it, the magnet fell out. It came to my attention thanks to a previous poster to notify the shipper of this. They stated it shouldn't of happened and came defective. So they sent me a replacement switch. Bleh. Guess I'll look into a dna lol.

Also, it's an hcigar, not an authentic. They said to the best of their knowledge the glue could've grown weak during its time in a warehouse. Guess they've had the stock a while. Sounds fair enough to me.

Glad they're fixing what is clearly their fault. But when you get your new button, you should take it apart, clean it out, and it should work beautifully. My hcigar stingray is a personal favorite.

Glue the magnet back in place.

And rice pins can be purchased from certain hobby stores, like model train stores.

Super glue.

And I bet if you got on your hands and knees for an hour or two, you could find both the rice pin and magnet!
