I would open the mod and see if any wires broke or came loose at the solder connectors.. I had the ground wire to the 510 come loose on the ipv4 when accidentally dropped it on pavement climbing out of my truck.. resoldered the wire and it's been working perfectly ever since... I hope you get it fixed okay and good luck!

Yes
Yes
And yes.
The 510 seems fine. There's no dent or scratches on it.

Anything else that could have happened?

I would take the Battery out of the Mod. And then Push down on the 510 Pin to see is it moves. Could be that the 510 Pin is stuck.

Or it could be a Wire has come Loose like smacksy mentioned.

That's what I was thinking, 510 might be stuck/jammed :)

does an atty register on the display?? shows ohms? does your mod display "No Atomizer etc" when button is pushed? If there is a broken wire, it would be the same as no atomizer... did you check the coil for impact damage? If the 510 + post is stuck in the down position, once again there should/would be a No Atomizer warning. If the mod is out of warranty, open it up carfully and check for loose/broken wires, cracked board, cracked SMT ( surface mounted parts) parts. The resistors and capacitors can easily crack making for an open circuit and failure to operate... if it truly beyond repair at least you get to see the internals and learn from it....

Any videos about how to open it? I've never opened a mod myself.

The attys are registering. The ohms are correctly being displayed.

When i press the fire button... Nothing happens.
The positive and negative buttons work properly.

I'm actually using it with goon so the coils seem fine.

I think I'll just try opening it if nothing else works out. :)

Hello fellow members...
I just dropped my al85 mod and now it won't fire. The screen is fine, opened the battery door and checked and everything seems okay. But it just won't fire.

I'm thinking of opening it and checking the board. But i don't wanna f up any thing by doing so.
Any suggestions?
TIA.
It already does not work; what more damage can you do?

Roll them bones mate....

Have fun

The screws are doable... I just worry that i might pull a wire in not supposed to.. So a visual demo could help.
just be careful, you should have no issues at all.. but research your particular mod on YouTube and there might be a video available showing how to take it apart.. you can also Google for the same thing.. if I tried to repair a mod and it still doesn't work I would just buy another mod... hopefully one of better quality, lol

Tsk tsk tsk...been here since April, bought a Smok product and you have NO back up?
We have failed you grievously.
Please accept our apologies.

IMO: Smok sucks, always have a back up or two, Smok sucks.

If you are in the EU/UK, pm me and I'll send you a pico to use until your tesla arrives.

Good luck

I've got to have backups, like these set up in rotation for today
