Kindbright Apocalypse GEN 2 Style RDA Blue 24mm Rebuildable Atomizer
What is the reading on your coils? They look good![]()
So do the half ones count? Looking at the pic i sent. Is it counted as 4 or 5?Full wraps will be in the middle and half wraps on the ends. Hth
Sent from tomorrow
From what i can see you have 3 full wraps and 2 half wraps on the top of the picture and 2 full wraps and 2 half wraps on the bottom .So do the half ones count? Looking at the pic i sent. Is it counted as 4 or 5?
Edit - how does one count the number of wraps? The top, bottom, or side?
Thanks & that charon looks solid as hell!Doesn't usually come with a tank, but if you look around (Google) you'll probably find a vendor that includes a tank.
I'm sure someone will chime in, dunno what you mean! I'm boring, my most used e cig is my coolfire iv & nautilus mini hahaI looked at the steam engine coil page.. There's a lot of values that i didn't understand.. @ToneeN @Ryedan
Can you guys explain the values to me please?
I have about a dozen Eleaf TC100W... it's not the most popular model and overlooked a lot.
Pros:
Cons (which I'm stretching a bit, as it really doesn't have actual cons, just slight things that is up the the person to choose if they really are cons)
- squeeze trigger
- easy interface (an actual button for switching modes and other)
- sleak, fits in my back pocket well
- by far the longest battery life of all my other dual battery mods (at least 20-30% if not more)
- reliable, and build to take a lot of punishment (my wife and daughter have dropped theirs so many times.. and some guy that works in construction has abused his on a site that it's hard to recognizable, but still works fine)
- with firmware, max wattage is 120W (way more than most really need, heck, I'm good at 45-50W)
- one of the very rare parallel reg. mods out there (can operate with a single battery at 75W)
- magnetic doors
- Actual physical trigger lock
- Looks great, modern, different than the usual "face" type.
- crazy cheap in price (about 30-35$ if not less)
Note that Eleaf just announced what is probably it's replacement, so it might end up disappearing. The replacement is a regular 200+W that looks a lot like the Predator.
- being slim, tanks over 23mm will start protruding
- max wattage is 120W
Note: I do have a couple of Predators, and they are quite nice. overall, very close to being a good replacement to the TC100W, but bottom snap door, battery life, hand comfort (for me anyways) puts it under (while winning some points for the large screen)
That said, the Tesla nano 200W, is one mod that I've been considering a lot, but the con that stops me is the no onboard charging capacity.

Yes! Thank you@Cf11, on the Steam Engine coil wrapping page, click on 'How it Works' and the page will open up. He gives good explanations for pretty much everything. If you have more questions after that just ask and we'll try to help.
It's my favourite two battery mod but recently my tarot nano has taken over & I gotta say for a mini mod it certainly packs a punch & the flavour on the tank is absolutely amazing. I got it given off a mate but I will have to pick up one for when I'm vaping on this, could very easily be my primary mod an I'm digging the ceramic coilsMy Tesla is my everyday, love it, no issues (even had a couple of leaky tanks and nothing seeped into the battery compartment). I have a Battlestar as a backup, love it to but not as pocketable as the Tesla because of the shape but it is lighter. I will use it in the car on longer trips though because it fits in my (non-used) ash tray in my truck very well.
I picked up 3 of them for less than $75 for stocking up. The reviews were good and the price was great. I tested each of them out and they are very nice mods, not just because of the price but they are very solid mods. Would buy again.
You think that's bad, I had my red nautilus 2 on too of a blue coolfire iv lmao, looked like a superman mod. I am very fussy with mods matching so it didn't last long. The Tesla and whole steampunk thing is so pretty! I could never buy that though, it's just... I use an IPV-5, and it is a total workhorse. I can't even count the number of times I've dropped it, and it continues to play with me. It's incredibly ugly, my son got white for some reason, and I have a bright red Nautilus 2 tank on top. I have no need for two batteries, it's just what I got gifted, but it's nice to know that I can take it anywhere, and it's very reliable. As well as pretty easy for a non-gifted tech person to figure out.... I actually like having a small tank on top of a large mod, as when I drop it, it's rare for the tank to take the hit, and since the Nautilus X has metal housing, that works out great for me. Presets, easy operation, etc., etc. It's far from beautiful though, though that's not really my agenda with e-cigs. Though when I see some of those pics, LOL. Wow! I actually often hate steampunk stuff, but a lot of it is SO well done, and I love the idea of these art pieces, and that the tesla works well. It's making me drool, but NOT into my tank... Nope.

There's actually an extender kit with the nautilus x that makes it 4ml & it's not expensive either! It find the nautilus 2 to be a fuss which is why I'm getting it.I really like the tank, it vapes extremely well though I use the 1.8 coils in it. It can be a little fussy, especially when extremely full (though I try to stick to that fill line). When just filled it can leak a bit, mostly out of the air holes which I'm figuring out need to be CLOSED when not in use/vertical. Overall, it's a great tank, though small enough that I can't imagine sub-ohming with it, I'd be filling it up all day! Using the older coils, it's 2--3 times a day, MAX, depending on my day. I have to use pure VG as I'm allergic to PG, I'd think that it probably vapes slightly easier with some PG in it... I get the tiniest amount of gurgling after I fill it, but that goes away quickly and I ascribe it to the VG, though it may be something else. 100% VG, my coil lasts 1-- 1.5 weeks. I wish it was as leak-proof as the Aspire Nautilus, and I could see attempting to find the older, bigger Nautilus tank so I don't have to fill so much, though bottom fill tanks are like, doom for me. They really are.... The X is durable materials and really easy to use.
I do find if I don't screw the coils in *very hard* I'll wind up with a tank full of juice and a check atomizer warning, but I have since learned to coil the sucker, put it on the mod, and see where I'm at with it, before adding new juice.
It's an excellent tank, my one wish would be that they made it slightly larger, but I imagine that may happen.... I've only used kanger tech products and some strange tank that I just examined that's old, bottom filled, and really tastes awful non-stop and did from the start. Can't find its name anywhere... I hate kangertech because it's flimsy stuff and won't last around me. Other than that, my first e-cig was that n-joy cig set with drip top tanks and that worked well for me for a few weeks.... Then I started a new job and e-cigs were history! I remember being so stressed about the interview I stopped to buy cigarettes.
For a klutz with a fine motor tremor and some peripheral neuropathy this tank is surprisingly user friendly even for me. So, I like it, but I can see where the detractors could have some complaints.
