I guess one of the things I wondered, when I made this thread, is mods blowing up seems like they would be headline news worthy to perpetuate the fear. I've been looking at the new members forum for the first time since I joined a few days ago until now. It seems like.... with all the people not understanding this, it seems like there would be more incidents, but there doesn't seem to be, because I would think they would be front page in light of the regulations. My wording wasn't intended to be hostile. I was thinking in another thread yesterday to Maybe try some 0.2 or 0.1 builds, but had got the math wrong, and when I found out the actual amp draw I decided not to for safety. Now I'm fine keeping my pull, as a rule of thumb, below 20amp continuous on any battery (that has more than a 20amp continuous rating. I'm at a 9 amp now.
My point was just, some people are getting told off here, which is good. But for every 1 that's told here, there must be another 10 who don't know right?
I wouldn't like it to be more common, I just thought Maybe the guy was right. And if he was, then why do people on here act like it's more of a safety risk. But I understand more now.
