A mix-and-match components question, not sure exactly where to post!

Thought about posting this in mods, but it isn't a mod, in the SI forum but it, isn't really a SI question, in cartos, etc (maybe safety?). but wasn't sure which was most appropriate.

The setup:

1 x Volt 220 mAh auto
1 x 901 to 510 adapter
1 x SMOKtech Shorty 1.7 ohm cartomizer

The questions:

1. Will this blow up? If so, I will not proceed.
2. Will this possibly just ruin the battery, and not blow up? If so, I might proceed.
3. Will this be fine, just drain the battery faster, and give me a nice vape in a small form factor? If so, I will definitely proceed.

I doubt it would fire up at all, but if it did it would most likely damage the Volt battery.

They don't like voltage below 2.4 to 2.6 ohms, in my experience.

I got squirrely and did it up right after making this post total idiot-style. OMG/PLUMES/TH. It makes a tiny popping sound when the auto engages.

I don't understand electronics enough to know why this is a bad idea, but it just seemed so right in my head. And now that I got a few beautiful drags, this Frankenstein's Monster it is sitting there teasing and taunting me with the promise of better days.

So I guess my next dumb question is does anyone know of an auto cig-style that would work with a 1.7 ohm carto?

Do you mean they won't last as in they will run out of a charge quickly, or do you mean they won't last as in buy a couple of hundred and you should be set because they will all break?
