OH No to late. I've seen it . OH how could you! :glare: TRADER!!!!!! ROTFL. That's ok this and the Spheroid is a wonderful combo.
Fantastic on my hands when they are hurting. But still wont take the place of my BB. Oh and Drunk_J I will keep this post under wraps.
Your secret is safe with me until. :p

Odd. Mine was one of the us distribution places (vaperver.com). I did have a little white powder looking stuff that whiped right off. No flaky stuff.

Mine does have some scratches but hey, the base is still aluminum. Don't care what you coat it with, scratches happen. I just call it character and proves I use it. Still my fav mod at the moment. Just don't tell the billet box thread folks that.

Someone hacked my ecf account, no idea how that got posted. Probably that ferret virus which was running rampant this morning.

I just got my Microstick today!!! #1208, and I'm in LOVE!!! This thing is so stinking cute, I want to eat it!
(**that's a figure of speech, chewing on gun metal is not my idea of yummy really:D)

I couldn't be happier!!!

I am so glad everyone made a big stinky about the coating, I might have freaked a bit too, mine also arrived a bit grey. But you know.. this is actually how a lot of metals are finished, I can't even recall what, but somewhere in this house, I've got objects that have a similar finish. It's kind of weird, but you can totally scratch it with your fingernails. Then you rub and the scratch goes away. You can scratch at one spot for a while, and it will get shiny. Then you rub and the shiny goes away. So if you get really bored, you can save a lot of money on Lotto scratch off tickets, and scratch your microstick, then rub it to get the scratches out again. Just an idea:).
Here's what fingernails do:

I then scratched it with my 18K gold ring, and as mentioned, it scratches, then you rub and rub and it makes the little rubber balls like people have mentioned, but the scratch isn't fully gone, it leaves a shiny scratch spot. I think what they mean by you can't scratch it is that you cannot scratch it down to the metal... you can leave an uneven scratch surface on the finish with other metals tho. It's no big deal to me, the Provari black does exactly the same thing, and that's painted with Cerakote, a gun paint also.

Did I mention, I LOVE my microstick? OMG! This is sooo little!! Soooo cute!!! Soooooo different from all my other mods!!!

Relative size to Billetbox, Provari Mini, E-pipe:

I was a bit worried about what atomizer to use in it, but given that I have er...a LOT of atomizers, I knew I already had something for any type of vaping I wanted to do. Thought I'd show you guys some things you can use in it besides those mentioned.

Aspire ET-S BDC glass w/ adapter:

The above is Ego threaded, so I bought an adapter for Ego-510. I like this because it holds 3 ml and is a replaceable non-RBA head for when I don't feel like rebuilding or don't have time.

This is the A-7, a near perfect fit for the smallest fingerprint (but a very small liquid well of roughly 1 ml):

This is the A-7 with a random SS drip tip I had laying around:

This is the Igo-F, with built in unchangeable drip tip:

The Igo-F is a great fit, and sits lowest, because the tank is actually below the top of th e microstick, but the juice well is really tiny and it's a bit harder to rebuild, because you have to get the wick down the hole into the juice well, but this is possibly the shortest profile you can get for the microstick.

New toys are THE BEST!!! I am not sure that this is my favorite or will be my favorite, since I like all my mods for very different reasons, but I do love it very much:)!!!

I'm using a Provari mini 18350 AW IMR battery in it. What battery are you guys using, since this is a 100% mech?

I want to note that I shot all the above pix BEFORE I did all the rubbing on the finish, so what you are seeing above is the raw microstick I just got in before rubbing with wet washcloth, before rubbing with nails (except for that one spot), before scratching with ring. After all the rubbing and scratching, the finish looks flawlessly matt black to the eye. Course, I've only had it for less than an hour, so don't know how long it will stay this way:).

Grats.

Do you … not … have a … Spheroid ???

No... and I don't need one:). I went a bit nuts buying RBA to see if I liked RBA, and frankly, while I don't mind building RBA, it's not my favorite thing to do:p. I don't need any new RBA til I get better at making wraps and more importantly, WANT to make wraps:p.

Why would you need a wrap for the Spheroid? I have 3 brushed ones and have no issues. FYI with the v3 kit it is easiest rba I have ever used and flavor is awesome.

Also, I use AW IMR red batteries and some Efest IMR too.

What does the Spheroid do that other little RBA don't do?

I looked at rebuild threads for it, and it just seemed like a whole lot of extra work. The simplest was a wire mesh build and I have a Steam Turbine and hate the wire mesh taste... so even in the Steam, I use cotton balls. The Spheroid had to have a big cotton wrap in the top too... I just want to vape... it just seems really complicated.

Ah, ok. Since there was a big discussion about people using wraps or tape to protect spheroid from scratches with the MS, is why I assumed she was talking about wraps.

I am rebuilding my spheroids right now and will take pics. I simply wrap some 30 gauge wire around a 4-40 machine bolt, remove and flame with a torch for 10 seconds while holding it in hemostats or tweezers. That is the hardest part, which isn't hard at all. With v3 kit, the coil legs simply go into a slotted post sleeve and you tighten up the screw. Twist up a little cotton to make wick and your done.

The stuff in the top of spheroid is not cotton, but a fluff like in an aquarium filter. Once you put that in, you never need to remove except for cleaning.

Also should mention it doesn't leak like some other RBAs do.

The build is no more different than any other dripper. Think of the Spheroid as a an auto feeding dripper. But instead of your wicks laying in the juice , they just reach up and touch the juice being held in he filler / fluff material. Here's my current build. I only use micro coils but you don't have to.

Also I should mention that has the V3 kit to make it screws instead of thumb nuts.
