Ok ok, I'll go look at Spheroids too:p.

It just occurred to me that a certain group of us have ALL THE SAME STUFF! :p

Oh, btw, I'm running a Coop in that section, for a mech mod with a really nice removable kick that might work to adapt with the extension of the microstick. Go check it out in the Coop interest thread:).

I have a Spheroid for my MS as well, but I switch back and forth between that and the Aspire BDC, but the Spheroid is VERY easy to use and I hadn't touched any rebuildable until I got it. I'm still not a maestro, but I can re-wrap the coils in a couple of minutes and they aren't a tangled mess like I had anticipated...

had a Spheroid since v2 was released. I didn't use it much, until I started building microcoils. Same coil has been in it for a few months now, just change my wick and dry burn every few days. easy peasy. Love my Spheroid and it is even better in the Microstick!

Seeing your avatar and sig reminds me that my poor Orion 2.1 is still sitting on my shelf with the dreaded leaky switch issue. Soon CrackedOne will get caught up and work his magic and I'll have a refinished/repaired Orion to use again.

Luckily the microstick/spheroid combo has taken over the spot I used to use the Orion for. 18350 on the go compact but beautiful set up.

I'm not super thrilled with the finish on my microstick. I've been babying it . .as much as I can, anyway . .and it's picked up several good sized scratches plus it looks kinda blotchy and grey. I'm no anodizing expert but I have other things that are anodized . .. anyway . .I am way over the finish and I definitely enjoy using the microstick.

So far I've been using it with an evod rebuilt with a 1ohm microcoil. This is pretty good - the flavor is decent and it puts out a lot of vapor. I also found that the base and atty post from a vision mini nova makes a perfect extender for my cyclone clone. It's just the right height - the base of the cyclone clone sits maybe 15-20mm below the top of the microstick. The air hole sits just barely above the top. I did have to file the mini nova atty connector down so the atty could make a connection but it's really soft metal and filing it was super easy.

I've been occasionally using this to drip and it's really great. The microstick is more of a portable set-up for me so I use the evod a lot more - but dripping with it is nice on occasion. I'm on the lookout for mini kayfun but what I have now is working pretty well.

One possible bonus with the finish is that when it's all scratched to hell .. like maybe a year from now .. I'm going to look into getting it re-anodized. There are several places that do gun parts, etc. They have lots of cool colors and the price isn't too bad.

odd. Mine was one of the us distribution places (vaperver.com). I did have a little white powder looking stuff that whiped right off. No flaky stuff.

Mine does have some scratches but hey, the base is still aluminum. Don't care what you coat it with, scratches happen. I just call it character and proves i use it. Still my fav mod at the moment. Just don't tell the billet box thread folks that.

you are so busted ~~@@!!!

There was one and you waited around??? Who is the knucklehead??? hahaha
I deserve that.

But it was there for 2 weeks! Hidden away on some far away and forgotten page with "In Stock" flashing in big-... green letters. My Vivi Nova Mini arrived and having never used one, I wanted to test it out before hitting the buy button.

And to the ....... that stole it from under my nose... I hope it comes all scuffed up and your finish turns pink.

:D

Oh I am glad I bought it. Just waiting for the courage and uncreaky hands to give it a go.

If hands are an issue, I highly recommend the v3 kit as it does away with the knurled nuts and uses Phillips head screws instead. Also gives you posts with slots and makes installing new coils much easier in my opinion.
