Will you guys be upgrading to 304 & up SS on the Hamoriko like the minigen? A guy has a hamoriko on socalvapor thats starting to rust. I'll buy 1 if the SS grade gets upped at 1 point.

Chels said, that SS 303 can hardly get rusty in normal conditions. Nobody contacted us regarding rusty MiniGen or Hamoriko, though we produce them for about a year and sold several hyndreds in total. So we don't plan to change the materials.

ANY SS can rust in high humidity. There's nothing you can do about that unless you coat it with something or keep it full of juice. In Florida, it doesn't matter what grade (and I've tested SS 303, 304, 316, 316L, 404, 416) it rusts in humidity. Don't keep your stuff in the garage or porch:p.

First of all, Happy Mother's Day to all moms!

Second, have a question about shipping to the folks who ordered direct. My first MS came from a US vendor, so I cheated and got one quick. My second order, is coming direct. Does anyone have a comparison on the shipping days on the standard versus the EMS? I don't want to wait two or three weeks if that is what standard takes. But wondering how fast the EMS is to US.

Thanks!

EMS takes about a week.

Standard shipping to US is unstable.
60% of orders arrive in 1-2 weeks
30% of orders arrive in 3 weeks
10% of orders arrive in 4-6 weeks

Thank you! What the heck, might as well. Besides, I wanted to add some extra screws to the order anyway. I know while sitting around waiting for the package to arrive, I will second guess myself the entire time thinking why didn't I go with the faster shipping. Plus, my luck would be me in the 4-6 week 10% group...hahaha.

When I ordered mine a while back they did have a link on the site to be able to upgrade shipping to EMS after pre - order was done. So maybe they have one now also. Many folks order and then decide darn I should have chosen the fastest option.

Thanks. Yeah, it is still there as that was how I did it (and decided on an extra spring/screws). Love that option, very cool. Too bad more vendors don't do that. Also ordered the extender the same way a week or so back. Only getting the extender to try the kick2 mod for it. Spheroid at 15 watts is amazing. And still keeping the form factor pretty small. Though I may go a slightly different route than this post, undecided. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...7-i-kicked-my-little-donkey-microstick-2.html

Do let us know how you get on with kicking your MS, when you do it. I tried a slightly different way to BK, by earthing straight onto the negative on the base of the 510 - but gave up on it as I couldn't find a suitable spring-loaded switch to make that connection. So I just copied BK method which works good.
I also increased the diameter for the atty - so got my Penelope sat in there now. Now "that" was a scary modification! Me and my Dremel on full tilt!...
I also have another MS on order. Definitely going to kick that too, though I'll be leaving the atty alone this time around...
Good luck with yours when you get to it...

An order can be changed here:
Service - Mini ECIG

There you can upgrade the shipping method or add something to an existing order.

$10 for standard shipping. $20 more to upgrade to EMS for $30 total shipping??? If that's correct... somebody is way too proud of EMS.

Very nice! You can drop that off by my house anytime!!! haha

BTW LittleDonkey, was wondering if you had seen this comment by Chadsmo and what you thought of it? I agree, that is my one small complaint about the MS. With the current thread on the button, you tend to unscrew the battery compartment when unlocking.

A reverse threaded lock ring for the new batch and an upgrade kit for existing owners would be amazing. The lock is my only slight complaint with the MS.

We won't make the thread reversed, since it's uncommon, so more people will be complaining if we'll do this :)
Also after several days of use if you often lock and unlock the button, you will get used to it. Automatically you will unlock the button without unscrewing it. The MIcroStick will also "get used" to it quickly.

Well actually people will get used to whatever thread it has on it. But I have had my Microstick for many months now and every time I change the battery out, it is a struggle unlocking the button as it tends to want to removed the entire thing. This is such a simple request, why not at least offer it as a change out part or option. I would be willing to bet that more people would enjoy the reverse than not. Typically your customers are the best people to listen to for product changes or upgrades. So why not at a minimum run a pole for a while and let people vote on any changes that they wish to see? You have a wonderful product, but listening to customer feedback can make it even better since we are the masses who purchase and use it everyday.

Well, finally got everything together, but still undecided on the approach. This was my proposed solution, a contact probe with spring assembly (in which we are using on DNA mods on the FatDaddy 510 connector). 101402-000 IDI | Mouser
But unfortunately it is 0.130" in diameter and the largest part of the stub piece on the extension is 0.152 with the smaller center being 0.127 and that is just too tight for my comfort level (and too close for blowing out the wall into battery compartment). They don't seem to have a smaller contact probe either. So next thought is to grind off the surface coating of the stub out on extension and it's reciprocal on the Microstick, then fill that gap with some copper shem material. If that doesn't work out, then I guess I will do the same as you have and in the kick thread.
