Well actually people will get used to whatever thread it has on it. But I have had my Microstick for many months now and every time I change the battery out, it is a struggle unlocking the button as it tends to want to removed the entire thing. This is such a simple request, why not at least offer it as a change out part or option. I would be willing to bet that more people would enjoy the reverse than not. Typically your customers are the best people to listen to for product changes or upgrades. So why not at a minimum run a pole for a while and let people vote on any changes that they wish to see? You have a wonderful product, but listening to customer feedback can make it even better since we are the masses who purchase and use it everyday.

We won't make the thread reversed, since it's uncommon, so more people will be complaining if we'll do this :)
Also after several days of use if you often lock and unlock the button, you will get used to it. Automatically you will unlock the button without unscrewing it. The MIcroStick will also "get used" to it quickly.

I disagree. The reverse thread on my GP PAPS V3 is light years ahead of what's on my MicroStick (it's a RPITA).

I see 3 tons of new CNC glory being installed. This just means greater ability to make prototypes. I'd say make a handful of reverse-threaded buttons, send them out to folks who are asking for them to see their reaction, and if they are happier with the reverse threading, make the Microstick with a choice of regular or reverse threaded button - and since you run this with the pre-order model, you won't run the risk of making too many or not enough of one version.

Bonus: you get to sell the new version as a replacement part to those who already purchased a Microstick.

Just a thought.

P.S.: and if they don't like the reverse threaded version, we all get to laugh at them and ridicule them. Either way, everyone wins!

- 1 on reverse threading.
Works perfectly well as it is, at least for me. So just balancing out the opinions...

Just FYI, this is more a vote for allowing it as an option or addon part. So you're not really balancing out. We aren't wanting to change it completely, just have that as an option. But of course, everyone is entitled to there own say. Somehow I feel it will all be meaningless anyway, which is just sad. If your not improving your product based on customers desires, someone else eventually will and then we will be their customers.

BTW, finished the kick mod tonight. Will try and post pics this evening. The copper shem worked just fine. Larger issue is so little room for the kick without grinding the posts down below other board components. Also for some reason my extension brass pin is short. Even not messing with the kick or mod, I have to unscrew the button contact a couple turns to get it make better contact. So ordered some brass rod to fix that issue too.

There "may" be the slight possibility that your extender part has not completely snapped home completely into the main body?
I do remember when doing mine that there was a puzzling period where the contacts were not all making it home to complete the circuit.
You might try just applying a little more pressure (fingers only) to push the main body and the extender together tightly (of course making sure that no crud has make it's way in between closing surfaces).
It seems more likely that something is not making it home - rather than the supplied extender positive pin being short.
Either way - good luck with that...

Late as always..... Yeah, +1 on reverse threading. It is a PITA and it's worse with arthritic fingers.

That just tipped the scales for me. What might be 'normal', or usual in one locale, may be way different elsewhere~! In the US alone, moving from Oregon to Ohio to Major name brand food 'stuffs' have the same container, colors, and everything - but different names (just due to area to increase sales I suppose).

If you wish to 'capture' market share, it is not always enough to just make a great product, but sometimes to offer different versions/colors/options so you capture a larger market share.

I can understand if you simply do not want the hassle, etc... but please do not say it's due to lack of demand.

Way back when, Mr Ford said you could have any color car you liked, as long as it was black. But even he learned (took 9?? years) that more colors meant more sales. So, how much is enough?

We have some bad news. Our CNC machines arrived with a delay and what is worse, no electricity is supplied.
The local electricity company is a monopoly and there is no way to speed them up. On this week they finally started working on this, but their job is still not done. Nearly every day we thought that we can finally start the production tomorrow, but we are still blocked. In 1-2 days electricity should be ready.

To speed up things and catch up on the plan, we rented one more CNC machine so now we try hard to make sure that we start shipping within 45 days for all orders. This run was started 26/04, so the earliest promised shipping date is 09/06. If we could start on this week, we would avoid delays, but now we have to face the fact, that we can't complete the orders in just 2 remaining weeks.
Sorry.

We will have a delay in several days for orders placed in April and in the beginning of May, though we truly tried to avoid this. Orders placed in the middle of May are now in safe. We'll ship them in time.

You don't need to worry about 45 days of PayPal guarantee. We allow refunds any time before the order is shipped. We did this previously and we'll keep that practice, so don't worry about this.

Once we get everything in place we'll post photos from production.

How do you cancel orders for a refund?
